MARCHING BAND
The Marching Gators are well-known throughout the southeast as a premier marching unit. The Marching Gators have shown through years of quality music, marching, and guard performances that music can be fun and exciting for all. In the past five years, the Marching Gators have performed a variety of styles ranging from latin jazz to Holst's "The Planets". This year was no exception.
During the 2004 - 2005 season, our marching band show included excerpts from Great Balls Of Fire, I'm A Believer, I Want You Back, Touch Me, Groovy Kind Of Love, and Ain't No Moutain High Enough. You may have watched us perform while swinging along as we jazzed up the field. If you did, you would've witnessed the spectacular performance. The guard gave it color as they showed off elaborate routines with original bright fabric and tossing their rifles. Our drum line and pit was then featured during the Classic "Doors" tune "Touch Me". This year's drum line and the rest of the band worked extremely hard to put on a wonderful performance. Thank you to all who supported us through this past season.
