Land O' Lakes High School Band Uniform Checklist

Make sure you have your:

* Shoes

* Black Socks

* Band Shirt

* Jumpsuit

* Coat  w/ both baldrics

* Shako w/ box

* Gloves

Every performance we want to look our best, so please keep your hygiene in mind before you arrive    at the band room. That means get into the shower, TURN THE WATER ON, then use soap to clean up and wash yourselves. These uniforms are expensive to clean and maintain, so please help keep these uniforms nice for years to come.

Also, please eat a good meal before arriving at the band room. This will help with maintaining your strength for the performance.

There will be NO jewelry or makeup of any kind worn while in uniform. This way we can look uniform and keep valuables from becoming lost.

There will be NO eating in uniform. If you receive a break during games, the coat and shako will be taken off and left on your seat, so that you can eat. You shouldn't need to eat anything because you have already eaten at home (see above)

Always arrive 15 minutes early before any performance report times. (**Remember early is ontime, ontime is late.**) If there are any last minute informational items, you will have the time to get them. Please take the time to make sure that you have everything before you leave the band room. In other words, check for your music, lyres, uniform parts (see above), and your instrument. If you worry about other people's things you may forget your own, so don't forget your stuff!!!!
