B&W Photography

When I was a child, our neighbors used to babysit me sometimes. They were professional photographers. In my family, my dad and uncles also liked to experiment with the camera. So I've been around cameras and film since the beginning.

I've liked to photograph forever, but Black and White photography is a relatively recent hobby for me. I started it around 98.

I have a Pentax ZX-50 SLR 35 mm camera with a Pentax 35-70 zoom and a Quantaray 70-300 zoom/macro lens. I have a small improvised darkroom in the corner of the garage.

I have a pretty good idea on how to take good landscape pictures, but had never focused on taking pictures of people. Lately, I've been trying to take pictures of anybody who gets in front of my lens.
