Market day in Jinka... very few travelers make it out this far.
We met some poeple from one of the many Local tribes...The "Merci" have traditional that stretch back hundreds if not thousands of years, Such as the use of Clay lip & Ear plates, Scarification and breading.
Jude and Lynn met some more sheltering from the rains and shared the local hooch @ 2.5p per measure it only takes 15p for some to be locked!! (Irish for pissed)
Then the storms hit hard.
We headed back to the Main road south and stayed at some interesting guest houses!!
The journeys result in some breathtaking views and sights
We felt so welcome by most people..
