The next day we found out Soup and Stork are budding poets, something to do with waking up in the morning ...

The Main Mosque in Damascus is a place of worship and Pilgramage, we had to wear habits as a mark of respect.

The surrounding bazaar as in other places in the Middle east was full of Culture and Characters.

So we head further south away from Damascus another early start but the views of the City were breathtaking especially when you pass the same sites 4 times... another translation problem??

and the sites didnt stop at the Sun rise

so our time Syria is over and we cross into The hassemite Kingdom of Jordan
