Like most things that can't be explained, it
all started one night at the bar.
Between
games of trivia an expatriate from Louisiana and a
blowhard from California decided to hold a party. All
they needed was an excuse and Mardi Gras worked just
fine.
One
provided the back yard, the over-the-top sensibility and
the financial backing. The other brought a slew of
kitchen equipment, a working knowledge of Cajun cookery
and years of experience behind a stove.
Although
that’s the brain trust, it’s an event that
couldn’t be done alone. We want to say thank you to
everyone who donated your time and assistance to helping
us make this thing work. And, of course, thanks to
everyone that showed up and made it the social event of
the season.
