Probably the most famous street in the UK, if not the world! Coronation Street has been shown on our TV screens for 40 years. Margi Clarke first appeared in the show as an inmate, Jackie Dobbs, who befriended Deirdre Rachid when she was wrongfully convicted and sentenced of fraud.

Deirdre made a somewhat rash offer to Jackie Dobbs, when she said if ever she was in the area and needed a friend, then call her. It was to her shock and dismay when four months afterwards she appeared at Deirdre's door. Margi go the chance to play alongside some of the nation's most famous faces for a further five months. Her character had a son, Tyrone, who is still a street regular.
