GLOBES
This picture contains many examples of the globe phenomena.

The large image in the center (top row) was resized. The images on the sides have not been resized or lightened. The image on the bottom was scanned with the new scanner and lightened a bit. It was also resized. Many of the other globes could be seen in this photo so I included it here.

This is another picture taken outside our front door. When I first saw the picture I thought that the photo lab had accidentally gotten drops of liquid on the photo. When I studied the negative however, I discovered that these globes are on the negative... in reverse color, just like all normal negatives. There was nothing for light to be reflecting off of to cause these globes of light (the background is a lot with trees in the back of it).

The two pictures to the left of the main photo show the full size version of the two brightest globes (on the left of the photo). The picture to the right of the main photo is the full size version of the dimmer globe in the center. The newly scanned image lets you see all of the other globes that were too dark in the first scanning.

This type of Ghost Light/Globe phenomena seems to be fairly common. I must admit that it startled me to see this in a photo from right outside my front door though. If you are looking through all of the pictures here, you will see that three of the pictures are of the same spot! They were taken with different cameras and over a three year time span, but it still makes me wonder WHAT they are doing by my front door!
