A little bit of moden history... B a b y a l r e a d y . . .
Starting from where everything started.
...at the age of 9, I started learning in a Yamaha School of Music in the Philippines...
It was as bad and unpleasant as you could imagine... ...but I guess it is always like this.
The only possible difference is if I had no skill... because then it would have remained bad!
But that is what you may have to judge by yourself.

A professional band, I mean...
Okay, one of my keyboard was 65cm wide and the other one, much bigger, was making electric sparks once a while...
But I was enjoying and proud of performing live on stage... that brought me to Malaysia in '96, after changing for the third time both band and keyboards...

I am not playing in a band any longer,
busy learning, composing and searching.
Learning - pop jazz in a school, classical in another, here in Singapore.
Composing - an album, dedicated to my feelings, which four first songs are available here.
Searching - for a voice, somebody who can help me to complete my music, since my voice disqualifies me from it...
and of course, I will continue to update this site, time after time, with my new stuff.

...at the age of 10, I played my first recital piece...
House of the Rising Sun
Oops... old, yes...
terrible?, not that bad for me as I was noticed by the school, which decided to make me join the next competition.
The good part here, is that you have no idea how I could look like with red ruffled dress, red ribbon in the hair (one on each side... to make it better?...), and the hands were freshly manicured... I spare you the picture!

many participants, even TV and radio broadcast...
full Luzon region representation (Luzon is the main island of the Philippines)...
three categories: junior, intermediate and senior, I was competing as junior...
I did finish third, but the best part were the condition I had to play with: I had no memory card as the others had,
was not familiar with the organ used, and honestly felt very lonely...
that was the Yamaha Electone Festival '84.
