Curl Hot Hair Dryer by Rolo Styler Troubleshooting
1) My Hot Air Dryer keeps "clicking."
When too much of your hair is wrapped around your Hot Air Dryer, it will automatically make a clicking sound. This is the safety clutch. It will not damage your hair or the dryer brush. This will happen less the more you work with your Hot Air Dryer.
2) The Hot Air Brush did not do what I wanted.
My hair is medium-short. We have designed a special, smaller medium dryer brush head - perfect for medium-short styled hair just like yours. It came with your Curl Hair Dryer order. That should work perfectly for you.
My hair is TOO LONG. For hair that is longer than 9 inches from the root, start out by using the Hot Air Dryer Brush at your roots. Brush down the length of your hair with the rotation OFF. Once you reach the last 8 or 9 inches of your hair, turn the rotation ON to style the remaining length of hair. Experiment with both sizes of dryer brush head to see which works best for you.
3) It "pulled my hair out."
Is your hair tangle-free before you begin? You will need to brush your hair to remove excess tangles before using your Curl Hair Dryer, just as you would before blowing out your hair with a regular brush and hair dryer. This also helps prevent split-ends and breakage.
4) Product is not working.
What specifically is not working?---It is NOT SPINNING / BLOWING HEAT.
Is your Curl Hair Dryer charged? The Hot Air Dryer Brush will not work if it has not been charged, so the unit must be plugged in to function in order to be charged.
Perhaps that outlet is not functioning. You may want to try another one just to be sure.
5) It is too difficult to use.
It is important to section your hair. Using the styling clip to keep other pieces of hair out of the way, begin with a small section of hair approximately one inch wide at the root.
In the beginning, try only using the slow speed until you get used to the Curl Hair Dryer.
Make sure that you let the Curl Hair Dryer heat up for a few minutes until the polishing pads are nearly too hot to touch.
I wanted more BODY in my hair.
Start with the Curl Hair Dryer at the root of your hair. Hold it there for a few seconds with the heat ON but the rotation OFF.
Pull the dryer brush up, away from your scalp in an upward motion.
At this point, turn the rotation ON making sure the spin is set in the correct direction. Continue using the dryer brush down the length of your hair.
I wanted my hair to really SHINE.
Make sure you are using your Curl Hair Dryer in a downward direction.
Let the brush rotate in your hair for several seconds before moving on to the next section. This motion in combination with the Hot Air Dryer Brush Polishing Pads will draw your hair's natural oils down the length of your hair locking in luster and shine.
Have you tried our ultra styling conditioning spray? You will love it. It strengthens, moisturizes, and detangles your hair. Specifically designed to use with your Hot Air Dryer Brush, it will give you healthier, shiny hair.

(6) Water and other liquids and the Hot Air Dryer Brush.
What part fell in the water or became wet?
Brush head. Let the brush head dry completely before re-attaching it to the handle. Never place a wet brush head on the handle!
Entire unit, handle, cord and/or cord. Do not operate under any circumstances. If the handle has fallen into water or become wet, unplug the unit immediately. You will need to order a replacement Hot Air Dryer Brush. This is not covered under the warranty, as this is not considered normal wear and tear. See warranty for more information.
