Robert "Bobby" Baresford Brown Bobby was born on February 5th,1969 in Boston. Her mother, Carol, says that he's a "mischievous child". Bobby has a few sisters and brothers: Lele, Bethe, Tommy, Carol. When he was 11, Bobby sings with his friends Michael, Ralph, Ricky (and later Ronnie); they become the group "New Edition" .In 1986, he leaves the group and begins a solo carreer. In 1988, "Don't be cruel" is a success (8million copies- 2 million more than Whitney's "I'm your baby tonight"). In 1989, he makes a world tour; the video "Bobby-his prerogative" is released.
