The threshold of a defining moment is knowing that very moment will affect you forever... And embracing it. As an artist I look for those defining moments in my work and in my life. I count and cherish them. I want to experience and learn how to apply those defining moments to my craft. I want to make the best contribution to the arts as I can. I am most passionate when immersed in the depth of the moment. I know my purpose, where I should be and what I should be doing. It is a gift. Inspiration lies within the experinces of ones life, good things and bad things. True inspiration evokes raw emotion. It makes you laugh and feel real love or cry and feel real pain. The craft is in applying reality towards an artificial moment and feeling it's truth. Memories of the past are a part of what I draw on to create the best of what I love. What was once painful brings me joy. There's power in that. I know what my passion is, what I was meant for in this life. I feel it physically, through to the depths of my soul. |
