In Memory of

Marilyn Frith

To those of you who knew my mom, I hope these pictures will bring back some wonderful memories

of the precious woman she was...and for those of you who never had the chance to meet her,

hopefully these pictures will give you a glimpse into the kind of person she was and get to know her a little bit.

I was able to arrange for my mom to ride with an on-duty police officer a couple of weeks before she passed.

Mom sporting her new wig after her hair fell out from radiation.

You can see how much she loved me all over her face.

My parents and me when I was first born (I was a premie).

She was a natural mother, even though she didn't know it at first.

You can see her old green Malibu and our old TransAm in the background.

Mom always loved watching Nash Bridges on TV and always wanted a flippy phone like his.

Mama showin her fun and silly side again.

This was taken outside our first home as a family.

My mom and dad.

I don't like to see her smoking in pictures (she had lung cancer), but she is so beautiful in this photo.

This must have been at someone's birthday party.

I believe this is from my mom's first wedding. The guy treated her like dirt and set her new car on fire for insurance money. But she's beautiful.

I used to tease my mom about this striped hat thing. :)

In the backyard at our first home.

My first snow.

Those classic cars again and us hot chickies sittin on the hood.

Okay, maybe this was my first snow.

My mom and grandmother.

My mom, me, and my grandmother.

Mom used to buy clothes and spend money on herself. At some point, she stopped wanting to get anything for her. I wish she'd kept giving to herself.

The baby isn't me, but Mom is pregnant with me in this picture.

I think she had a wonderful smile.

My mom and dad.

Mom and me at church.

Maybe I'm biased, but my mom had the grace, beauty, poise and personality that every woman hopes to achieve.

Elegant and carefully posed.

I think this one might have been taking when my mom was in high school. She was voted "Best Groomed." She could've won for "Biggest Flirt" too. ;)

P.S.  There will be many more pictures to come; keep checking back for new ones.
