Reference letter for Marina Petrovna Pushnaya

Marina P. Pushnaya worked in SEAC as a teacher/instructor of extracurricular education from 1989 until 1995, and as a senior teacher/ senior lecturer from 1995 until 2001.  During her work she showed herself as a responsible, creative and dutiful teacher.

Marina is very directed towards self-development and self-education. During 10 years work in Extracurricular Education Center she developed unique program called “A person and the Universe” which is based on the idea of unity of person and the entire world. This program was directed towards the comprehensive harmonic development of a person and includes physical training in gym, long hikes and camping, psychological and psychobalance trainings, and special extracurricular courses in addition to curricular classes – such as in mathematics, physics, astronomy, philosophy, psychology. Her experience in that work, which led students to develop a “Global World Outlook” became the base of her PhD research dedicated to the development of the “Global Thinking” of high school students.

Her high level of teaching and communication, an interesting program, and the high level of spirituality has helped her to attract and to inspire feelings of community in the teenagers. The stability, quantity and quality of the groups she led confirmed this.

Marina was always ready to share her practical and theoretical experiences with her colleagues and children’s parents. At the same time she was glad to accept feedbacks on her work.

In 1995 Marina Petrovna was honored as the best teacher of the department  and received a promotion to the highest level.
