I think you shouldn't get the light arrows, or at least not early in the game. Also, i think Link should only be able to carry a few wepons at a time, having to go back to his house or some place of the sort eveytime he wants to use a new wepons, thus making the game a lot more complex and confusing, especially in dungeons. Also, i think you should be able to have a chicken follow you around like in Link's Awakening. A chicken might be a decent fighter in a good combat....hehe. You shold only be able to carry a FEW bottles, NOT SIX. In Majora's Mask, i think they just put them in there to occupy space on the weapons subscreen. As soon as you fill them all...you have to reset to the first day again. Three or four should be enough. That about wraps it up, but Navi should come back, so should the biggoron's sword(or some 2-handed sword).
Romani (5 - 9 - 01)
I wish we could have at least SOME masks. They did make the game fun. And the Master sword, Slingshot, Bow and Lens of truth should DEFINITLY be back. Also, I wish we had the Magic powder back. It was a tradition of Zelda(Yeah), and It would be sooooo cool to see cuccos and Dogs explode, and Stalfos turn into Mice!! ahahahahahahaha! Also, I wish there was a new Item that can read minds, like the Mask of truth!
Mariner (5 - 9 - 01)
Swords- I had a problem at first with getting the Master Sword so early in the game (roughly equivalent to when you get it in OoT and LttP), because I want it to remain the supreme sword. However, I think I have a solution.
You start out with a normal sword. This gets replaced by the Master Sword. The Master Sword has two extra features besides being more powerful: ability to shoot out a beam and ability to reflect some magic attacks. Your third sword is a larger sword, which is more powerful but does not have these properties, and takes two hands. You can switch in between these swords. You then get your Master Sword tempered, making it equal in strength to the other sword, which can be tempered later. This makes 5 total levels of swords. That should be enough.
Shield- I haven't given this much though. You start with a normal shield that can block physical attacks. This can be upgraded to a magical shield, which blocks most magical attacks as well. Finally, you get the mirror shield, which can block pretty much everything. Pretty standard, but I can't think of anything else.
Bow and arrow- These will obviously return. Also, Fire and ice arrows will return as well. Silver arrows will replace the normal arrows late in the game. I'm not sure if I want to include light arrows yet or not. They could be used for puzzelda, like in MM. But otherwise, they'd be pretty pointless.
Boomerang- My favorite weapon will gain much more prominence. It will be the first weapon you recieve. It will stun all but the smallest enemies, like in the first two games. This can be upgraded to the magical boomerang, which will attack and actually hurt all enemies.
Hookshot- Same as before. There will be two variations, a hookshot and longshot
Bottles- 4, no more. 6 was just overkill
Bombs- duh
Triforce Spells (subject to change)
Light- lights up a room for a brief period
Shield- not quite like Naryu's love. It deflects smaller attacks, but larger attacks will still do some damage
The spiritual sequel to Bombos- I can't think of a name, but just a very powerful multidirectional attack
Weather- sort of a combo between the Song of Storms and Ether. Mainly a puzzle solver.
Some neutralizing spell- Gets rid of some type of barriers. Basically a way to block off certain areas until later in the game.
All of the Triforce spells consume magic. You learn them at various places and times as you move along the quest. There will be two magic upgrades- the first will increase your bar, and the second will decrease your magic consumption (just so that the bar doesn't take up too much space)
Ocarina- Used mainly for warp purposes, but a few other songs can be learned as well.
There will be other items of course, including some new ones I'm sure.
