The Timeline

Or as close to a timeline as possible

Note: There really isn't a timeline.  None of the games actually dealt with dates.  Time was merely "many years ago" or "centuries."  But we can make guesses.  The actual dates are not important, just the relative difference in time between various games.  HR refers to Hylian Reckoning.  You will find that that is about the only similarity here with other timelines.

			1 HR	Three goddesses created Hyrule and the Triforce
			1-1242 HR	Six races built a civilization.  The Hylians emerged as the most powerful race.
Back to the Realm			1036 HR	The Impa family became servants for the royal family
			1243 HR	A group of people called sages found the Triforce and brought it to Hyrule

History index			1284 HR	The Book of Mudora is written
Brief summary Articles			1291 HR	The king died.  The Triforce split when the prince touched it.  A wizard put the princess to sleep.  The prince ordered all women of the royal family to be named Zelda.  The sages gathered up the Triforce pieces and placed them in the Sacred Realm

The form Email Message Board			1702 HR	Link opens up the Sacred Realm and is placed in stasis for seven years.  Ganondorf gets the Triforce and builds up his power. He attacks the castle and becomes the new king.
			1709 HR	Link awakens and awakens new sages.  With their help, he seals Ganon in the Sacred Realm.  Zelda is proclaimed Queen
Written by			1783 HR	The Triforces of Wisdom and Power return to the Sacred Realm
The Mariner			2042 HR	Link II is born
Do not use without permission			2057 HR	Droughts threaten Hyrule.  Agahnim appears and ends the droughts.  He is proclaimed heir to the seven wise men
Updated 11/6/00			2059 HR	Agahnim brings the maidens and Link to the Dark World (Sacred Realm).  The seal of the sages breaks.  Link defeats Ganon and retrieves the Triforce.  He brings all decent people to Hyrule and destroys the Dark World.  Ganon escapes and hides in Death Mountain
			2060 HR	It is discovered that none can effectively use the Triforce.  Debates start.  Link leaves to improve his skills
			2062 HR	The wise men decide to hide the Triforce of Courage.  One of them hides the Triforce in the Valley of Death.  A spell is put on Hyrule to find one who could use the Triforce
			2083 HR	Link II settles outside Hyrule
			2211 HR	Link III is born
			2225 HR	Ganon fully recovers and starts to rebuild his army
			2226 HR	Link travels to Hyrule.  Ganon attacks Hyrule and steals the Triforce of Power.  Zelda splits the Triforce of Wisdom and hides it.  Ganon imprisons her.  Impa finds Link.  Link recovers the Triforce of Wisdom and destroys Ganon
			2227 HR	Link learns of the Wise Men's spell and learns he can use the Triforce.  He finds the Triforce of Courage and reunites the pieces.  He awakens Zelda I
			2251 HR	Link becomes king, using the Triforce.  The second golden age of Hyrule
