ADVENTURE ISLAND II

CONTINUE

You must possess the Hudson Bee from World 1. Hold Left and press Start when your game is over. You can locate the Hudson Bee inside a secret room in the first cave of the first island. Jump up and down after passing the fifth skull to find the entrance to a secret room.

STAGE SELECT

On the Title screen, press Right, Left, Right, Left, A, B, A, B. This will bring up the "World Select" screen. Choose your island by pressing Up/Down, and begin by pressing A.

STAGE SELECT

Press Start on the Title screen to get to the options screen. Press Select to get the cursor down to Password, then press Start. Enter the password "DDFFI" and press Start. Press Select to get down to "1p continue," or "2p continue," and press Start. Under the word "Round," room number "C9" will appear. Press B to lower the round number and A to raise the round number. In this way, you can choose to start on any stage you want!

ADD PLAYER TWO

Make sure you have at least one character in reserve, then pause the game by pressing Start and press Select to activate the second player.

DESTINATION EARTHSTAR

STAGE SELECT

Press Start to begin the game. Any time you wish to skip to the beginning of the next level, hold Down and Select, then press B, B, B on Controller 2. Release Down and you should hear a chime. If you do, press A, Start and Right on Controller 2 then to change levels.

POWER UP

Press Start to begin. Any time you wish to skip to the beginning of the next level, hold Down and Select, then press B, B, B using Controller 2. Release Down to hear a chime. Then press B, Select and Left on Controller 2. If you are in the "Star Stage," you will repair any damage, and if you are in the "Base Stage," you will instantly have nine ships in reserve.

EMPIRE STRIKES BACK

FORCE POWER

In any stage where force powers are used, press Start to enter the force powers screen. Hold Right, then simultaneously press Start, Select, A and B and release them simultaneously. The screen should remain the same. Keep holding Right, then quickly press B, B, Start, A, B, Start, B, B and Start. The action will resume and you'll have all the Force Powers.

SOUND TEST

Hold A and B and press Reset on the Control Deck. A number will appear on the screen which corresponds with a sound or music line in the game. Change the number with Left/Right on the Control Pad. Hold A and B and press Down on the Control Pad to activate the selected sound effect.

Enter "T G L" as your password!

READ THE STORYLINE

As soon as you clear the first flying scene, and enter the first room of the labyrinth, while holding Select, press B repeatedly.

HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER

NO INERTIA

Pause the game and press Up, Down, Left, Right, Select. Repeat the code to turn the inertia on and off. With inertia on, the sub coasts a little bit before stopping. With it off, the sub can stop on a dime.

SLOW MOTION

Pause the game and press Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right, A, B, B and A. Perform the code to toggle between normal and slow speeds.

LEVEL SKIP

Pause a game, and press A, B, Select, Right, Left, Left, Right, Select, B, A, B, B and A. You can do this once per game.

99 SUBS

As soon as your number of subs reaches "0," pause the game and do the Level Skip code. This starts you with 99 subs. You can do this once per game.

FULL SYSTEMS

Pause the game and press A, B, Select, A, B, Select, A, B, Select, A, B, Select, A, B, Select, A, B, B and A. You can do this once per game.

DOUBLE SCORING

Pause the game and press A, B, B, A, Right, Down, Up, Left, Left.

NO FORCED SCROLLING

Pause the game and press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right and Right. This allows you to turn the scrolling movement on and off.

ICE HOCKEY

NO GOALIES

On the Title screen, while holding A and B on Controllers 1 and 2, press Start on Controller 1. Note that this only works in a one-player game.

FRICTIONLESS PUCK

On the Title screen press Start. Select teams, speed and time, but do not press Start afterwards. Hold A and B on both controllers, then press Start on Controller 2.

Your life meter will show just 2 boxes of life, and it will go down as monsters hit you, but every time your life runs out you will automatically be given another box.

LOWER PRICES

To get the shopkeeper to lower his prices, simultaneously press the A and B Buttons on the Controller 2. This will usually cause the shopkeepers to lower their prices whenever you go into a shop in the game. This will not work with the Black Marketeer.

LEGEND OF ZELDA

QUICK END

If you are stuck in a screen with no way out, and no way to lose a life, you can use this code to save your game (so you don't lose the items you have picked up), and start over from the starting screen of the game. Press Start on Controller 1 to call up the sub-screen. Then press Up and A on Controller 2 to bring up the "Continue, Save, Retry" screen. This is just like losing your last life!

START ON SECOND QUEST

Simply enter "ZELDA" as the name of your character when you begin a new file.

METROID

POWERED UP PASSWORD

For your password, enter in "JUSTIN BAILEY" and on the bottom line, put all dashes (-). This starts Samus without her armor, 6 energy containers, 255 Missiles, and the Wave Beam. Kraid and Ridley are already defeated.

QUICK END

At any point in the game, press Start on Controller 1. Then, press Up and A on Controller 2 at the same time. Use this code to end your game and go to the Password screen.
