AJOBA

This mountain is called the Grand father of the Sahyadri Mountain range. One side is a steep and straight drop of almost 4000 feet into the Konkan plains. The top is narrow and the view here is fantastic.

Grade : Difficult
Height : 4511 feet

Getting here:-

Reach BHANDARDARA ( Wilson Dam)
A well trodden cart track from GHATGHAR passes along the base of RATANGAD and it climbs up to a col and  then descends to KUMSHET village at the base.
Here a complicated route serpents its way on the lower slopes and then reaches the base of a huge high long wall, traversing it at the base, leads inside the huge upper plateau with water and huge grassy slopes.
