From Portuguese forts to waterfalls this area comes to life in the monsoons and is a delightful experience. Most of the places that can be visited are easy except for the Adsule pinnacle and the Mahalaxmi Pinnacles. These places can get extremely crowded on Sundays and holidays.
This area is to the north of Bombay. These areas can be reached by the Western Railway at Vasai, Virar, Palgar, Safale and Dahanu Railway Stations or by road on the Bombay-Ahmedabad highway.
