This is one of the best preserved of forts with
huge walls and fortifications still intact. It has entrance gates. The top
has a big plateau with water and a temple.

| From LONAVLA catch a bus to AMBAVNE alight at PETH-SHAHPUR. |
| A good route leads to the top. |
| Descend to AMBAVNE village on the other side. One can then proceed further west from KORIGAD and then on to TELBAILA . |
| From TELBAILA village, get down to the Konkan thru the WAZRI pass to BHAIRAMPADA ( 6 Kms), follow a nala to the top.. |
| Walk to PALI (13 Kms) via DHONDSE, NADSUR and VADA by bus. |
