THANAL CAVES

These caves are situated to the north of SUDHAGAD.

Grade :- Medium
Height :- 1931 feet

	Reach LONAVLA Railway Station.
	From LONAVLA catch a bus to AMBAVNE alight at PETH-SHAHPUR.
	A good route leads to the top.
	Descend to AMBAVNE village on the other side. One can then proceed further west from KORIGAD and then on to TELBAILA .
	From TELBAILA village, get down to the Konkan thru the WAZRI pass to BHAIRAMPADA ( 6 Kms), Walk to NADSUR and further ahead to THANAL village.
	The caves lie ahead.
