AMBOLI GHAT

This pass lies to the south of NANE GHAT valley. It leads from AMBOLI on the ghats to the KONKAN. It has a very sheer drop and is tricky on the descend. Excellent views of NANE GHAT from the pass.

Getting here :

	Reach KALYAN Railway station.
	Travel by road/bus from KALYAN- MURBAD- TOKAVDE- SAVARNE- MALSHEJ to JUNNAR. A direct bus leaves for AMBOLI GHAT.
	One has to walk about 12 Kms to reach the KONKAN plains at PALE- DHASAI where buses are available to KALYAN.
