A very prominent and curious looking
projection and is situated 5 Kms before MANMAD. The Shendi has been
climbed by a few and it has always been an exhilarating climb.

Getting here:-
 | Reach MANMAD Railway station, as one
approaches MANMAD by train, this thumb like pinnacle of about
150 feet is visible. |
| Walk from the station on the DAUND railway
line and turn off after about 2 Kms towards village KATARWADI.
It is and easy scree scramble to the base of the pinnacle. |
| The last parts are exposed and difficult to climb
over rather unsafe rock. |
