RAJDHER

This is an imposing massif rising above the KANCHAN- MANCHAN Khind in the east. On the top old rock cut store houses and walls are the only things that remain. It has a huge plateau but the final square massif would be difficult to climb. No drinking water is available here.

Getting here:-

Reach NASIK and then proceed by bus towards CHANDWAD. proceed on the Bombay-Agra road ahead of CHANDWAD, at VEDBARI and goes via RAODEBARI and CHINCHBARI, on the way to RAJDHER village.
From the village one must traverse the rear side of the fort. A 100 meter rock climb gives access to the fort. An anchor is available on the top of the blown off steps fro rappelling down or climbing up.
One can descend on the west to the NASIK-SATANA road for a bus to either CHANDWAD, NASIK or MANMAD.
