 | From BOMBAY proceed to KARAD BY rail or by Bus. |
| Catch the morning bus from KARAD to CHIPLUN. Alight at KOYNANAGAR. |
| Proceed to NAVJA (11 Kms). The fort is on a easterly spur which narrows down to about 15 meters and 1 meter wide. This is the entrance to the fort. |
| Towards the south of the fort, KUMBARLI Ghat joins CHIPLUN to HELWAK and KARAD by a motor able road. |
