| This is a small fort surrounded by dense forest. there is a temple, huge tanks of drinking water and old guns on the eastern section of the fort. This fort is not visited often, even by villagers, so one might have to cut a route through the forest. | |||||||

 | From BOMBAY proceed to SANGAMESHWAR (South of CHIPLUN) by Bus. |
| Proceed to SHRINGARPUR (3 Kms). Climb up a westerly spur to reach a prominent white spot in the cliffs (6 Kms). |
| Traverse under the cliffs to the north col. between the fort and the plateau. At this northern tip you find a dilapidated gate called MAHAR Darwaza (1 Km). enter the fort. |
