Mary was born in Santa Clara and attended St. Claire’s grammar school and Notre Dame High School. After receiving her Medical Assisting license and joining Kaiser she returned to DeAnza College as a music major.

Mary has been a member of the fertility team since it’s inception.

Mary is married and has one son, one Himalyan cat "Samantha" and a husband who routinely showers her with flowers.

Mary and her family are avid sports fans with season tickets to the 49ers, San Jose Sharks and Arena Football San Jose Sabercats. She has many other interests including crossword puzzles, crocheting, scrapbooking, rubberstamping, vacations in Hawaii and music.

Mary has sung extensively with the Schola Cantorum, a community chorus based in Mountain View and is the organist at her church services.
