The second movie in the trilogy is much better than the first! The special effects are damn good, and the story isn't bad. Plus all the girls are hot!
Even with all that, my favorite character is Sister Gloria. She kicks major ass! She's one of the coolest religious characters ever, up there with the kung fu priest from "Dead Alive" and the ninja rabbi from "Gefilte Fish of Fury"!! She uses a super soaker filled with holy water, holy water balloons, and a rosary nunchuks!! Kick-ass!!
The only thing I don't get is why every movie about demons involves Catholics. I mean think about it: "The Exorcist", "End of Days", "The Omen", and the list goes on. Why not a few Jewish demon movies, or how about an ass-kicking by a devout Muslim? What are they trying to say? That only Catholics are holy enough to destroy evil? Hmm...
Anyway, check this flick out for the hell of it. The death scenes are definitely the highlights, especially Angela's deaths (that's right, twice).
