This is a great, great movie. It IS bad, of course, but for being so bad, they do a great job pulling it off. It's funny, violent, and relevant, as Sid makes numerous political statements as he kills.
Acid Sid is truly one of the great horror movie monsters. He's witty and he kills in creative ways, like strangling one pledge with his intestines. The makeup is pretty good, and the special effects are actually halfway decent.
Other great parts include when the whiny pledge tells everyone how his father is a lawyer and he's going to sue the frat, the college, and the police; the first murder on the toilet; and the cherry bomb (you'll have to rent it to find out!).
