Stupid
Trivia: Amalee’s name is pronounced Ah-Mah-Lee and
Arkatin’s name is pronounced Are-Kah-Tin…Just wanted
to throw that in there for y’all.
Lieutenant Amalee Lynn entered
the mess hall with the intent of getting some food, she knew there was an open
house so to speak, on the ship because they had docked at a small space station
which was a hub to hundreds of different species and the ship had been sort of
an exhibit of technology and how humans lived. She was very small and very
young. Standing at only five feet two inches, with jet black waist long hair
(which she always kept up in a tight bun on the top of her head) and brilliant
green eyes, she wasn’t some one who did very well in large crowds. She weighed
a mere 120 pounds and most of that was in her chest and ass. She was an
engineer and when working with B’Elanna Torres it was quite a good thing to be
as small and obedient as she was.
“Hello, what’s your name?” a
voice purred from behind her, at least that’s how she would describe it, “My
name is Arkatin Nixherd.” Amalee turned to look at the owner of the voice.
There stood a very tall female from a species she had never seen before in her
life. The woman seemed to be part feline, she had the
paws of a large cat as feet, with black claws curving out from each toe. She
was barefoot showing that the fur that covered her feet only traced up to her
knees and then tapered off in a point. She was wearing a
short, black, leather like skirt that had a small opening in the back to
let out the tail that protruded from her rear end. She had a sleek, but hour
glass figure, and an ample chest. Above that her face was very human like and
in addition to normal human features she had two cat ears that stood up on top
of her head.
“Lieutenant Amalee Lynn.” She
replied after a moment of looking the gorgeous woman up and down, she hadn’t
had any kind of sexual contact since she had gotten into the Delta quadrant,
mostly because she preferred females and was way too scared to pursue any on
the ship, even the ones who she was sure were
interested in her back. It seemed to her that this Arkatin woman was making a
pass at her and so she extended her hand out, “I work in engineering.” She
offered a small smile and Arkatin smiled back, Amalee immediately noticed that
she had two fangs where her canine teeth were located.
“Let me see, I don’t know how
the game of lust is in your culture so I will say this outright, I find you to
be very attractive.” Arkatin said and Amalee actually felt herself start to
blush a little. She was sort of glad that someone would be so forward with her,
if it was up to her the flirting would have lasted days before she squeaked out
the fact that she liked someone, this was so much easier.
“You are quite attractive
yourself, how did you—“
“Know that you were attracted to
females? I’m a telepath I read your mind. I noticed you a few days ago when I
boarded the ship your captain is letting me stay here until my ship is
repaired. Weren’t you informed when I came aboard?” Arkatin asked and Amalee
didn’t know why she bothered to ask a question when she could just read her
mind and find out the answer but Amalee was guessing that Arkatin was just
being polite and trying to make conversation.
“I was but people come and go
all the time on this ship I didn’t think I’d ever get to talk to you so I put
it out of my mind.” Amalee replied, “I’m sorry I’m not much of a people
person.”
“I’m not a “people” I am
Liffen.” Arkatin replied and then laughed slightly to show that her comment was
all in good nature, “You are an engineer, like you said, maybe
you would like to see my ship it’s powered telepathically.” At this suggestion
Amalee perked up, she may not have been a social butterfly but she loved
technology, especially technology that was more advanced then what she worked
with or had seen.
“Sounds nice, I’m off duty right
now and was just going to spend my time reading but that just seems boring now.
When would you like to rendezvous at your ship?” Amalee replied, a smile
spreading across her face. Arkatin took Amalee’s hand in hers and stroked it
gently with her thumb, Amalee noticed that although
her hands were very human like they had black, cat like claws at each tip
instead of fingernails.
“We could go now if you want.
The ship is badly damaged but I’d be happy to give you a tour and explain
everything to you.” Arkatin said and then started to pull Amalee out of the
mess hall. Amalee followed happily, forgetting all about the fact that she
hadn’t eaten in twelve hours.
When they got onto the ship
there was no talking, no explanation of technology, just a silent understanding
that they were going to fuck. Arkatin, of course, was the dominant one. She
shoved Amalee into the back room of her rather large vessel and threw her down
on the bed. There was absolutely no complaining on Amalee’s end. It had been so
long and Arkatin had to be one of the most attractive women she had ever seen.
Arkatin straddled her and pinned her down with her legs,
she then put her hand on the back of Amalee’s neck and pulled her into a rough
kiss. Amalee responded with equal passion and roughness, reaching her hands up
to caress Arkatin’s large breasts through her black leather halter top. Arkatin
started to purr loudly, much like a cat would.
She made quick work of getting
Amalee’s uniform off and throwing it to the floor, leaving the officer in only
her black bra and panties. Amalee looked up at Arkatin, her breaths coming out
hard and fast, they kissed again and that’s when Amalee noticed that the
woman’s tongue was rough, also like a cat’s would be, but for some reason the
texture was very pleasurable. She reached around to her back and pulled her bra
off and tossed it to the floor. Arkatin smiled and leaned down to the right,
lily white breast, with the erect pink nipple, and took it into her mouth and
began to suck. Amalee put her hands in Arkatin’s orange and black striped hair
and then arched her chest, trying to cause more contact.
“Oh god, oh god….yes…” Amalee
moaned, and Arkatin kept going for another moment before pulling her mouth away
and looking into Amalee’s bright green eyes. She smiled and then started to lay
feather light kisses on Amalee’s neck, then shoulder, then chest, moving slowly
downward until she was met with the fabric of Amalee’s panties. She gently took
the waistband into her mouth and using only her teeth she removed the item and
dropped it to the floor. Seconds later that sand paper tongue went to work on
the wet folds of her dripping wet cunt. It was like
nothing she had ever experience before, Arkatin
certainly knew what she was doing. Licking every fold, darting her tongue in
and out, and just when Amalee thought she couldn’t take it any longer the rough
tongue ran across her fully exposed clit. Amalee screamed with pleasure and her
hips bucked upwards as her hands tangled even more into Arkatin’s hair. Arkatin
licked her clean and then moved up and pulled Amalee into another kiss, letting
the woman taste herself, and the salty but sweet sensations filled Amalee’s
mouth and she smiled.
“Was that how you like it?”
Arkatin asked, still purring as loud as she was before. Amalee was positively
breathless and she nodded, if only just slightly. Arkatin smiled and ran a claw
down Amalee’s chest, the pain was welcomed, and a small red line was drawn from
the bottom of her chest to her flat stomach.
“What about you?” Amalee finally
spoke, still breathless.
“Oh I will call in that favor
later. For now, go get something to eat you are starving.” Arkatin replied and
then moved away from her and sat on the foot of the bed. Amalee picked up her
clothes and started to get dressed slowly, not wanting to leave Arkatin’s
presents. She felt an amazing connection with the Liffen woman, a connection
that she couldn’t explain but it was almost as if she wanted to do anything and
everything she was commanded. She finished dressing and turned to leave when
Arkatin grabbed her arm. She turned swiftly and was pulled down into one final
kiss. “I look forward to seeing you later. 1900 hours good?”
“Of course I’ll—“
“No, I’ll be at your quarters
then. Don’t keep me waiting.” Arkatin interrupted her and said in a stern tone
of voice. Amalee smiled and nodded, she really loved the forceful nature of
this budding relationship and she had no intention of keeping Arkatin waiting,
in fact she was more excited for their next meeting then she thought she had
ever been for anything. Arkatin let go of her arm and she walked off of the
ship, stealing one last glance at the woman before heading out of the shuttle
bay.
After Amalee had left and
Arkatin had gotten enough control of her arousal to actually think straight she
stood up and left the comforts of her ship to find Commander Chakotay. She had
dinner and coffee with him the previous night and during that time she had read
all of his insanely twisted sexual fantasies about Captain Janeway. Arkatin
herself was immensely attracted to Janeway but she knew she’d have a shot at
the woman soon enough. She used the ship’s computer to locate Chakotay, he was
in his quarters and so she thought she’d pay him a visit. Normally she would
have just used her telepathy to locate him but her thinking was still fairly
clouded with thoughts of Amalee.
She arrived outside of his room
and alerted him to her presents by ringing the button outside of his door.
There was a pause and then the doors opened, Chakotay
was standing there, still in uniform. Arkatin was reading that he had just got
done with his shift, perfect timing. She smiled at him and started to purr
softly. He was pleasantly surprised to see her and she knew it.
“Arkatin, is there something I
can help you with?” He asked politely and she did not hesitate to walk into his
quarters and take a look around.
“Nice set up you have here.” She
said and then sat down in one of his chairs and crossed her legs, opening them
enough so he could see her panties under her skirt before closing them up
again. He raised an eyebrow but she knew he was looking and that’s exactly what
she wanted. “Dinner last night was amazing, you are a good conversationalist.”
“I suppose you want me to join
you for dinner again?” He asked feeling a little awkward, he wanted her more
then anything and the feeling at that point was almost overwhelming. He didn’t
know, of course, that she had the ability to control her pheromones to attract
a male, or female, mate when she wanted to. He was becoming aroused and in the
uniform it wasn’t too easy to hide, that and he knew that she was a telepath, she was reading him like an open book.
“I want much more then just a
good conversation commander.” Arkatin said and then stood up and walked over to
him. She looked into his eyes and in that instant she was able to tap into his
brain. Her mental abilities far exceeded the knack for telepathy, she could
also trigger responses, control actions, tap into parts of the brain that were
unused. She stimulated the part of his brain that was holding back his
animalistic, sexual desires. Arkatin knew that he was a very peaceful,
and gentle man, but part of him was just aching to lose control. She had just
been the dominant one and now she would become the sub. He grabbed her and
threw her up against the wall and started to kiss her, it was almost violent in
a way. His hips started to grind up against hers, she
could feel his hard member through the fabric of her skirt and his pants.
He quickly unzipped the back of
her halter top and threw it to the floor, under it she wasn’t wearing a bra and
he noticed, if only for a second, that one of her nipples was black and one was
orange, much like the striped hair on her legs and head. He leaned down and
took the right nipple into his mouth and started to suck, hard. Arkatin’s
purring got louder and she put her hands on top of his head. He started to bite
down on the sensitive nub and she let out a sound that was half meow and half
moan. After a moment he pulled away, grabbed her, and threw her onto the bed.
Arkatin was strong but also a light weight, it didn’t
surprise her that he was able to actually lift her off of the floor. She pulled
off her skirt and panties and got ready for him.
Her arousal was so strong that
Chakotay could smell it and even that was turning him on more then he ever
thought possible. He stripped off his uniform and literally tackled her,
shoving his rather large and hard cock into her waiting cunt.
She screamed out in pleasure, and a little bit in pain, but the pain just made
the moment that much better. Surprisingly when he heard her make this sound he
back handed her across the face. Not expecting that, she bit down onto her
bottom lip accidentally, and drew blood.
“Did I say you could make a
sound?” He growled at her as he started to thrust into her hungry body.
“No, I just thought—“
“You don’t think when you are
with me, is that understood?” He yelled at her she swallowed hard and smiled
slightly, nodding a little bit to show that she understood. He began to thrust harder,
and she arched her hips up, countering his thrusts. When he noticed this
movement he brought his hands to her hips and held them down quite firmly. She
held back another groan and he moved in to kiss her again, this time sucking
the blood from her lip and biting down slightly him self. She began to bring
her hands up to put on his shoulders when he saw that and let go of her hips.
He grabbed her by the wrists and pushed them over her head and against the
pillow that was a few inches above it, “I’m in control….not you.” He said to
her, and she struggled, being able to read that it was what he wanted her to
do. His thrusting became even more animalistic, the pain and pleasure mixed
together in ways she had never experienced with a female. She opened her mouth,
getting ready to moan and he placed his hand over it, keeping one hand on both
of her wrists so she couldn’t move her hands.
A moment later they both
orgasmed, she made no sound because she was trying to concentrate on breathing
just through her nose. He let out an almost animalistic roar, and with that she
released the hold on his brain and let him become in control of his actions
again. Chakotay collapsed next to her breathing hard, and he noticed that
Arkatin hadn’t stopped purring once during the whole sexual act. Now that it
was over he felt some sort of odd connection with her, a definite mental
connection that he couldn’t shake, although it wasn’t unpleasant in the least. He
couldn’t believe that he had lost control, that he had
dominated her so completely but a bigger part of him was glad that he was able
to get all of his emotions out that way. He, of course, had no idea that
Arkatin had triggered the response, but if he would have known he would have
thanked her.
“Thank you, commander.” Arkatin
said and then rolled over and kissed him gently on the lips. She stood up and
started to walk over to where her clothes lay on the floor. She pulled on her
panties and then her skirt. Chakotay watched her, it
was weird, like a string was tugging at his heart because he didn’t want to see
her leave. He was very tired at that point and it was hard to keep his eyes
open, it was almost as if she had drained him mentally and emotionally, but it
was a good feeling a peaceful feeling. “I have a previous engagement, that’s
why I’m leaving. Lieutenant Paris wanted to show me something on the holodeck.”
She zipped up the back of her shirt and waited for a reply, she didn’t get one
because Chakotay was fast asleep. She mentally patted herself on the back and left
the commander’s quarters.
Arkatin entered the holodeck a
few minutes ahead of schedule to see a perfect image of the house she had grown
up in. It was a small brick house surrounded by fields of wild flowers and
trees. Arkatin had been the youngest of six and as such she was last to leave
the house. The Liffen lived very much like humans did back on Earth. There were
big cities with hovercrafts and shuttles, where buildings reached the sky and
beyond, and then there were rural areas set far back in the country. It was
important to the Liffen species that there always be wilderness, it helped them
hone their hunting skills. She didn’t see Tom right away and she was a little
new to the whole holodeck concept, so she hesitated for a moment before approaching
the house she grew up in and opened the white picket fence.
She knew that none of the images
were real, but they were playing a trick on her brain and for some reason it
unnerved her. She didn’t like the Doctor in sickbay either, she wasn’t able to read
his thoughts and it drove her crazy. She had only been in there once since she
got there and she made a mental note to stay as far away from him as possible.
He was the only person, or thing, on the ship that could sneak up behind her
and she wouldn’t know. He didn’t have a thought process she could read, and
even worse, he didn’t have a scent.
“Lieutenant Paris?” She said
softly, she was so overwhelmed that for the moment she couldn’t use her brain
to locate him. She hoped he was somewhere close, she didn’t feel like yelling
for him, and she knew it would take another few minutes before her brain calmed
down and she was able to read things as normal. A black ribdee
fluttered past, ribdee is the word for bird in
Liffen. Well that’s how it would translate in English she guessed, Liffen
people communicated through series of noises not unlike the sound of a meow. She
walked up the small stone path and opened the door to the house and looked
around inside. It was like being right at home, for years in her travels she
had only had pictures of her home and now she was standing in it.
“Right here.”
He said as he came down the stairs of the small two floor cottage that he had
designed, “I went through some of the data on your ship, the stuff that you
cleared access to. I was surprised that you were so willing to share your
personal logs and photographs so I thought I’d do something nice for you. I
know you are rather far from home and—“
“Oh Gods I love it!” Arkatin
interrupted him she then ran over to him and threw her arms around his neck and
kissed him passionately. She knew he was married, she read that from his brain
the first time they had met but she couldn’t deny the attraction she felt to
him. She knew he was an ex-con a criminal much like herself, she knew all about
his time on Voyager, and all she had to do was look at him. She liked him far
better then any of the males she had met on that ship and she didn’t want to
have to stimulate his brain to get sex out of him. He seemed like a lady’s man
who was now tied down, maybe she could just turn on
the pheromones and hope for the best. “Out back, did you get the—“
“Yes the
“Um you don’t need to
be….uh….naked…” Tom stuttered, it wasn’t that he was
complaining but if B’Elanna some how found out about this he would be in mega
trouble. Arkatin turned and shot him a sly smile and then slowly eased her way
into the
“What is it with you humans and
nudity? I am perfectly comfortable like this.” Arkatin said, and it was true,
on Liffen no one was afraid of nudity. They didn’t walk around naked or
anything, but their pools and beaches were all clothing optional and probably
ninety percent of the Liffen who visited those places decided to be nude. In
entertainment nudity wasn’t frowned on. It was a little different there though
because by the age of one year a Liffen was fully matured and could leave his
or her mother. Arkatin’s mother was actually brutally murdered in front of her
when she was six months old, leaving her in the care of the government for the
other six months. She was thrown around in the system, which was worse then the
foster care of three hundred years ago on earth. She had to learn to lie,
cheat, and steal to survive. Crime was now the only life that she knew. For
most of her life she was the Liffen equivalent of a gold digger.
She married a very wealthy man
who was very old. Liffens lived to be hundreds of years old if they weren’t
killed first and there was always a dying two hundred year old man looking for
that one or two year old, fresh, virgin face. When he died he left her
everything in his will, little did she know he was badly in debt and the only
thing she was able to steal away with was the custom space ship she had gotten
as a wedding gift from him. She kept the last name, Nixherd, because a
reputation preceded it and until she started committing crimes for a living she
used the name to get into elite parties and clubs. She used the connections she
made in those places to rip off anyone who was stupid enough to have a one
night stand with her.
“It’s just….I am….um….married?”
Tom replied, his voice went up at the end of the
sentence like he was asking a question. Arkatin rolled her eyes slightly and
then shot him a coy smile. She got out of the
“Nudity doesn’t always have to
be sexual lieutenant Paris. If B’Elanna asks about our time here I won’t tell
her.” Arkatin said flirtatiously and then put a hand on his chest and traced
her fingertips downward. Tom swallowed hard and looked over her extremely
curvaceous but sleek body. As his eyes went up he stopped to look at her chest
and her different colored nipples which were now erect because of the breeze in
the simulation. She leaned in and kissed him on the lips slightly and then slid
back into the springs. Tom couldn’t think, he was very
clouded with arousal and a moment later he stripped off the set of casual
clothes he was wearing and slid into the spring and sat next to her.
She looked at him and smiled, he
was very aroused but she guessed he was trying to play it off like everything
was normal. She reached up and pulled the clip out of her hair that was holding
it in place. It landed behind her on the stones that lined the outer edge of
the pool of water they were in. Tom didn’t really understand her enjoyment of
the springs, only because she looked so much like a cat and as far as he knew
they hated water. On the other hand she did look quite human, so maybe they
weren’t afraid of water. In any case his mind was quickly drawn back to Arkatin
who had slid her hand under water. At first he couldn’t figure out what the
hell she was doing, but then she started to moan.
Arkatin was pleasuring herself,
she had her cat eyes closed and her head rolled back. She was doing it like she
didn’t even notice that he was there. For some reason this turned him on even
more and he turned to watch her, quite intrigued with her ability to purr and
moan at the same time. While her right hand skillfully worked the inner and
outer contours of her pussy, the other hand snaked up and started to gently tug
at an erect nipple. Her breasts were absolutely perfect, and she was tall
enough that when she sat down on the stone bench in the spring that they rested
just above the water. Arkatin could read his thoughts, he found her pleasuring
herself to be very arousing, something his wife
refused to do for him. Suddenly she stopped and turned to look at him, “I think
it’s your turn.”
“Huh…wha—“ He replied dumbly, and she got out of the spring and then
pulled him up onto the ground next to her. He didn’t resist one bit, the
arousal was so heavy he was barely thinking of B’Elanna at that point. Then she
did something he didn’t expect at all, she leaned down gracefully and took the
tip of his fully erect cock into her mouth. He groaned and put his hands in her
waist long, orange and black striped hair. She lifted her mouth off and looked
into his eyes as she started to stroke his member so skillfully that it was
almost as if he was doing it himself.
“Gods do you have any idea how
fucking horny you make me Tom?” Arkatin purred, her
voice low and rough. He groaned and she smiled and once again took his cock
into her mouth, this time she sucked gently and swirled her tongue around the
tip of him as she did. Her tongue was rough but it was completely pleasurable
and quite a new sensation, one he was not used to. As she took more and more of
him into her mouth she looked into his eyes. Her right hand snaked down to
caress his balls, and she started to massage them gently.
Tom felt his orgasm quickly
approaching, he was never this quick to orgasm, she
must have had some sort of spell over him. Amazingly she was able to get the
entire penis into her mouth, she was almost swallowing him. Tom was not lacking
in the genitalia area at all, in fact, Arkatin noticed, he was quite a bit
bigger then commander Chakotay. She knew that it wasn’t the size of the boat, it was the motion of the ocean and in the end Chakotay
had gotten her off and that was all that mattered. Tom continued to look into
her eyes, which were glued to his. Arkatin started to purr louder, creating a
vibrating sensation around him and that was it. He came hard, and she kept his
cock in her throat until his hot seed was done spilling. She swallowed and
pulled away from him, licking her lips.
“God I wanted to do that since I
first saw you.” Arkatin said and then stood up and stretched gracefully. Tom
just sat there staring at her dumbfounded, unable to catch his breath. He too
was feeling pangs of loss, sensing that she was leaving. There was now an
unspoken bond between them, and like the others on the ship she had been with,
he was now willing to do anything she commanded and he knew it. She could tell
him to bring her the nearest moon and he would jump in the delta flyer and get
it. She pulled on her panties and walked back over to him and leaned down and kissed
him on the lips. “I have a previous engagement with the captain, but I would
love to see you again. Liffens only sleep four earth days out of an earth month
so I should be available whenever you are free.” She ran a finger up his neck
and then under his chin and then broke off contact.
“I’m married.” He said without
any kind of conviction in his voice whatsoever.
“I know but this can be our
little secret. You know where to find me if you need a good orgasm.” Arkatin
said and then headed back through the house, picking up her garments and
putting them on as she went. By the time she had revealed the doors and was
about to leave, Tom had ran up behind her as he zipped him his pants, he
remained shirtless.
“I um….bye.”
He stumbled over the words, she turned and looked at him and winked and then
left him there to revisit memories of their sexual interaction.
Kathryn Janeway was a little
surprised when she heard the chime at her door. Then she remembered that she
told Arkatin that she would meet with her for a cup of coffee. Arkatin had
never had coffee, or even tea, but she was willing to try it and that was a
nice gesture. Janeway walked to the door and opened it. She was in a lavender
tank top and black pants, with her commbadge on the left side. Arkatin was
standing there holding a bouquet of flowers that Janeway had never seen before
in her life. She did know that Arkatin had a rather large and elaborate ship so
she could have gotten them there.
“Hello captain, I brought you
these from my ship. They are much like lilies and roses except they are
called,” Arkatin interrupted herself and meowed the name of the flowers,
Janeway looked at her and then smiled slightly, “don’t try to pronounce it, as
far as I know you don’t have the right vocal chords so just call them flowers.”
“Well thank you that was very nice.” Janeway replied and took the bouquet. She
grabbed an empty decorative vase from a near by stand and put the arrangement
in there. She set the vase down on the table, in the center, and then leaned in
and smelled them. They were very pungent, but in a good way, and she barely
needed to get close to smell them. They did smell very much like lilies and
roses but there was a slightly maybe strawberry scent underlying. “Wow, I don’t
think I’ve smelled anything like it. It’s very pleasant,
I hope I didn’t put you out.”
“Oh no no, I always keep a bunch of flowers in my ship for
those chance occasions when I meet a captain and his or her crew. Actually you
are the first female captain I have met, that isn’t Liffen of course.” Arkatin
said and then smiled. Janeway motioned for her to take a seat at the table and
she did so, being careful not to sit on her tail. She watched as Janeway went
and got two cups and set them down on the table and then replicated a pot of
coffee. Arkatin didn’t know what kind of taste sensation she was in for but the
captain seemed to like coffee a hell of a lot and if it meant creating some
sort of companionship between them then she guessed she could choke it down.
Janeway poured the coffee and then took a seat across from Arkatin, who picked
up her cup and took a sip.
“What do you think?” Janeway
immediately asked her, but judging from the look on her face she actually liked
it.
“Very good, I can’t believe I’ve
never had any of this stuff. It contains caffeine, something on the Liffen
world that we definitely don’t need.” Arkatin said and then laughed. Her
species had little need for sleep and usually only did
it four times a month, like she told Tom. She didn’t know if caffeine would
have a different effect on her then humans but it didn’t matter. “You know I’ve
met some amazing people on this ship, Commander Chakotay, Lieutenant Paris, and
Lieutenant Lynn.”
“Lieutenant Lynn? She’s the
small quiet girl in engineering…she actually talked to you?” Janeway asked,
sounding a little more then surprised. She didn’t know Amalee very well and she
had tried her best to be friendly with her, but the young woman was awfully
quiet and kept mostly to herself. She ate alone and didn’t appear to have any
friends. She always got glowing reviews from B’Elanna though, she followed
orders to a T and she was probably one of the smartest subordinates working in
engineering.
“Well I approached her first. As
you know I’m a telepath and I could sense her interest in me. It was like she
wanted to talk to me but she didn’t know the first thing to say. I invited her
to take a look at my ship and gave her a tour, told her how things worked.” Arkatin
said, although it was an out and out lie. She had only approached Amalee
because she could read right away that she was a lesbian and that she hadn’t
had any sexual interaction in a long time. She knew of course not to blab this
to Captain Janeway because it wasn’t right to tell other people’s business, in
her culture or theirs. A little white lie hadn’t hurt and Janeway didn’t seem
aware of Amalee’s sexual preference. “I am actually going to meet up with her
after this, we want to get to know each other better.”
“Very good, it’s nice that you
befriended her, I was a little worried about her being so lonely all the time.”
Janeway replied and took another drink of her coffee. Arkatin smiled, if only
Janeway knew the plans she had for the crew, she wouldn’t be so friendly. “I
have a question for you and you don’t have to answer it if you don’t want, it’s
just simple curiosity.”
“Go ahead and ask. On Liffen no
one is chastised for any inquiry they might have. It is encouraged to ask
questions and I never mind answering even the most personal of things.” Arkatin
replied. Janeway was really starting to like her, she
was so open with everything, even the technology on her ship. Although as far
as Janeway knew, Arkatin’s ship could be piloted manually she was just advanced
enough to be able to use her brain to do it.
“If your race is all telepathic
then how do you keep secrets from one another?”
“Same way humans do, we put up
barriers. I mean you don’t just blurt out secrets to your crew because you know
not to. I can block any information I want from an intruding brain just as you
can evade questions that are asked of a personal nature.” Arkatin explained and
then took a big gulp of coffee, she mentally reminded herself to get some
actual coffee beans if she ever decided to leave the ship, or plans went sour. “It
sounds harder then it actually is but when you have to do it for most of your
life you barely realize you are doing it at all.”
“Well that certainly answers my
question. How do you like it on this ship? Are the accommodations adequate?”
Janeway asked.
“Yes, better then I had hoped
for. It was very nice of you to take me onto your ship and give me a place to
stay. It shouldn’t be very long until my ship is repaired and I am out of your
hair.” Arkatin said and reached for the pot of coffee to pour more into her
cup. She was also intrigued by the replicaters but and quick scan on just about
anyone’s brain and the explanation was apparent. It seemed in some ways the
human race was more advanced then hers, but in others they lacked. Arkatin took
another sip of coffee and absently reached into her shirt and started to play
with the necklace she was wearing. She always did that when having
conversations. Janeway noticed the locket that looked like it was carved out of
some sort of stone, like emerald or something. It had a hinge on the side but
the whole pendant was no bigger then two inches.
“That’s a beautiful necklace.”
Janeway said after another moment of studying it, and Arkatin had to think for
a moment, no one had ever complemented her on her necklace. Even on Liffen the
jewelry wasn’t complimented on because everyone was able to read her mind about
where it came from and most thought it to painful to ask about the situation in
which she had gotten it.
“Oh yeah, it was my mother’s.
She died when I was six months old. I remember her very clearly though she was
one of the most beautiful women in the world.” Arkatin said and then opened the
heart pendant and showed Janeway the inside. On one side there was a small
picture of the woman who was probably Arkatin’s mother, they looked very much
alike. On the other side of the heart there was an old fashioned clock with the
symbols that the Liffens used to tell time. Arkatin had adjusted it when she
got on the ship so she would be able to keep appointments with all of the
people she met. “She gave it to me when I was five months, she told me that it
had her picture and a clock, symbolizing that she would be with me all the
time.”
Janeway nodded slowly, from what
the doctor said from the scan he had done on Arkatin she was only three years
old. From the medical texts that Arkatin had provided from her ship, he was
able to figure out that Liffens reached full maturity at age one. Janeway found
this very fascinating, she had of course known Kes
who also matured quickly, but the Ocompans didn’t have long life spans. The
Liffens on the other hand lived an average of 150 years old, although that
average age was increasing all the time with the gene therapy they had been
experimenting with. If one didn’t know about Liffen physiology then they would
guess that Arkatin was about twenty years old.
“Do you miss your family
Kathryn? I miss my mother every day she would still be alive if it wasn’t for Lessy and her drug habit.” Arkatin said and then looked
down at the locket and snapped it closed, “On Liffen many females pair off with
same sex partners. Although the men cannot procreate that way it is not frowned
upon when two men get together. It’s different with humans though, there seems
to be a stigma attached to choosing your mate. Almost like it’s
wrong to be with the same sex, I can tell that it’s openly accepted here, at
least on the outside, but you can’t change what people think.”
“That’s very true, but I am one
who truly thinks, and believes, that it’s okay for any two people to be
together no matter what, as long as they love each other.” Janeway replied with
total honesty. Arkatin smiled at her and knew that Janeway was telling the
truth.
“Quite a few people on this ship
are, what’s the term you use, homosexual, and if I may
add, have feelings for you.” Arkatin said with a smile. Janeway looked a little
surprised hearing that but she was not outright shocked. The first thing
Janeway wanted to know were who these women were, but the rational part of her
brain knew that information wouldn’t help and so she pushed the urge to ask for
names to the back of her mind. “I find you to be very attractive as well and
it’s a feeling that I won’t hide, nor that I’m afraid of.”
“Arkatin, I’m flattered but I
don’t think—“
“Honey I know what you are
thinking. You are going to tell me that you aren’t attracted to females, when
in actual truth you have had feelings for females in the past and even feelings
for a woman on this very ship, although it’s not me.” Arkatin interrupted her
and then added a sly smile. Janeway started to blush,
she had totally forgotten that she was an open book with this woman. She opened
her mouth to respond when Arkatin started to speak again, “I won’t tell anyone
who it is or about your feelings, but don’t lie to me when I can just as easily
read your mind.”
“Fair enough I suppose.” Janeway
replied although she wasn’t so sure she could trust Arkatin but she tried to
keep all thoughts of mistrust away so she wouldn’t be able to read them.
Arkatin had only been on the ship for a few days, and Janeway had been there
for six years, what was the likely hood of anyone believing Arkatin anyway. She
didn’t want to keep this conversation going much longer, she didn’t know what
else Arkatin would try to pry from her brain, “You know I have a lot to do,
reports to finish and such.”
“You just want me to leave. I’m
not offended, I’m sure it takes time to get used to a telepath. You can trust
me, if I am worth nothing else, I am true to my word.”
Arkatin said and then stood up and headed for the door, she had to meet Amalee
anyway. “Thanks for the coffee captain, I hope we can
get together again before I leave the ship.” Janeway smiled and shrugged,
trying not to indicate and answer one way or the other through body movements
or thoughts. Arkatin smiled and blew her a kiss before stepping out of the
door. As soon as it hissed shut behind her, Janeway collapsed into her chair
and put a hand to her eyes. She prayed that Arkatin could be trusted as much as
she said.

Everybody’s Fool

Disclaimer:
I do not own Voyager or the characters I am writing about, however I do own
Amalee and Arkatin, I doubt any of you want to borrow them for a story but if
you do let me know and I’ll probably say yes. I do not profit from this story
in anyway.
Additional
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Amy Lee or the band Evanescence I just
wanted to throw them in here as sort of a tribute, I wish I was cool enough to
know Amy Lee but I’m not so I have compiled together as much info on her that I
can and…well just read the story.
Arkatin checked the clock around
her neck and saw that she had about forty five minutes until she was to meet
Amalee in her quarters. Amalee was off duty for the next eight hours and should
probably be using the time to sleep. On a whim, Arkatin used the computer to
locate her and found out that she was in holodeck 2. Using the map of the ship she had memorized
it wasn’t a hard task to find the holodecks, besides
she had been there earlier when she had her rendezvous with Tom Paris. When she
got there she chimed at the door, letting Amalee know that someone was there.
After a moment the doors opened and Arkatin stepped into a very different
setting.
There were holographic people
buzzing all around, dressed in clothes that she had never seen before. The
voices were not organized and the worst part was that she couldn’t read any of
them. She looked at Amalee who was dressed in black pants with a chain hanging
off of them and a black T-shirt with the word “Evanescence” plastered across it
in large white letters. Both the top and bottom seemed like they were way too big
for such a small girl. Arkatin looked down and noticed that the pants flared
out at the bottom covering whatever shoes Amalee was wearing in their entirety.
She had black make-up on and around her eyes. There was a pattern under her
left eye, purposefully drawn there that made it look like she had been crying
black tears, not to mention that her face was a lot whiter then it was when
they first met and her black hair was down and spilled across her back.
“Hey Arkatin, I was just running
a program that I recently created, it took almost a year to get the crowd right
for the concert. I had to give each one a different personality, of course I
could have just taken an already programmed crowd and redressed them but I
wanted the right atmosphere.” Amalee explained, Arkatin looked over the crowd
of people to see there was a stage set up and there was a band warming up to start
playing. Amalee almost instantly noticed that Arkatin’s cat ears were flattened
to the top of her head like she was going into defense mode. “Something
wrong?”
“These people….to many….I can’t
read any of them. It’s messing with my brain.” Arkatin replied and then put her
hands to her head to cover her human ears, “Can you make it stop?” Amalee was a
little shocked but ordered the computer to delete all of the characters except
the people that made up the band. Once they were gone, Arkatin’s ears popped up
and her hands dropped away from her face. She breathed a sigh of relief and
smiled at Amalee.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know—“
“It’s
okay how could you have known. Who’s the performer tonight?” Arkatin asked, she
was genuinely interested in who Amalee had worked on for a year to watch
perform. She was also very curious about the clothes that Amalee was wearing.
If they were both telepaths the conversation would have lasted 10 seconds and
there would be understanding. As it was, Arkatin was having a hard time reading
Amalee’s thoughts because she was still recovering from the voices that had
filled the holodeck 30 seconds ago.
“A band from the 20th
century called Evanescence.” Amalee replied with a smile, she motioned for
Arkatin to follow as she headed towards the stage. Arkatin followed and they
got right up next to the stage, close enough that they could touch the band if
they wanted to. “The singer is Amy Lee and she is my namesake. Well was. See
she is my distant grandmother, very distant. Our whole line of blood has been
blessed with incredible voices and musical talent. My parents wanted me to go
into performing and I really couldn’t do it. You see how shy I am, how am I supposed to perform in front of crowds. We haven’t spoke since I entered the academy. I doubt they know the
ship I’m on is lost, and if they do they probably don’t care very much.”
“I’m sorry. You should be able
to choose any path you want. Do you posses the musical talent that you spoke
of?” Arkatin asked. The most musical thing she could do was communicate with
other Liffens, which was a feat in itself considering she had to have a
different set of vocal cords. Other then that she couldn’t produce a note and
had always admired the other Liffens who could sing so beautifully. Amalee
smiled slightly and as a blush started to appear on her face she looked away. A
moment later a woman came out on stage, a woman who looked exactly like Amalee.
“How’s everyone doing out
there?” The image shouted into the microphone, Amalee cheered but she was the
only one, obviously with a crowd there was more of an effect but Arkatin had
made her get rid of it. From reading Amalee’s mind, the woman who had come to
the microphone was in fact a replication of Amy Lee. Even though there was only
one cheer, the singer continued on like there was hundreds. She burst into
song, “Long lost words whisper slowly to me, still can’t find what keeps me
here, when all this time I’ve been so hollow inside……I know you’re still
there….”
“Computer decrease music volume
by 50%.” Amalee ordered and suddenly the music became less loud and more
enjoyable, at least for Arkatin, “If you really want to hear me sing then I
will but I’m telling you I’m probably not as good as you think.”
“I won’t laugh or ridicule you,
I promise.” Arkatin said, she had had plenty of sexual
contact with almost all the male crew members and some female. Because of her
lack of sleep she was able to catch just about each on with time off, but
Amalee was really growing on her, drawing a feeling from her heart that she
learned humans called love. Amalee took in a deep breath and then ordered the
Amy Lee character to disappear. She climbed up on the stage and looked at the
band, who was obviously programmed not to notice if
she took the place of the lead singer. Arkatin read in the back of Amalee’s
mind, that she would come here to sing by herself but never had a crowd, all
she ever had was a band and now she was actually going to sing something for someone, it was a big step for her.
“Guys, what song you wanna do?” She asked, turning and talking to the band like
they were actual human beings. Arkatin knew that she would never get used to
holograms, they just had way too much mystery about them. The band members
talked amongst themselves and then the bass player looked to Amalee.
“How about Anything For You?” He suggested, Amalee
nodded and smiled in agreement with them. Seemed like good a song as any, and
considering the situation it would make sense. Arkatin flattened her cat ears
to the top of her skull. When they were folded like that her telepathic
abilities ceased to exist. She wasn’t a doctor so she would never understand
why, but without her telepathic ability she wouldn’t be able to guess the song
lyrics before they came, and she wanted the song to be a surprise to her. The
band started to play.
“I’d give anything to give me to
you, can you forget the world that you thought you
knew? If you want me, come and find me, nothing’s stopping you so please
release me, I’ll believe all your lies just pretend you love me, make believe,
close your eyes, I’ll be anything for you.” Amalee sang with just as great a
voice as the holographic character that had been performing before her. Arkatin
really liked the sound of the lieutenant’s voice it was very soothing.
“Nothing left to make me feel any more, there’s only you and everyday I need more. If you want me,
come and find me, I’ll do anything you say just tell me, I’ll believe all your
lies just pretend you love me, make believe, close your eyes I’ll be anything
for you. I’ll believe all your lies, just pretend you love me, make believe
close your eyes, I’ll be anything for you. Anything for you.
“ There was another slight bridge in the song and
Amalee smiled down at Arkatin. She truly felt comfortable performing for the
woman she thought she was falling in love with. Arkatin sat there with full
attention on everything that Amalee was doing. Well she wasn’t doing much,
other then clutching the microphone in a death grip and looking a little
nervous, other then that she was doing a fine job. “I’ll become your earth and
sky, forever never die, I’ll be, everything you need. I’ll believe all your
lies just pretend you love me, make believe, close your eyes, I’ll be anything
for you. I’ll believe all your lies, just pretend you love me, make believe,
close your eyes, I’ll be anything for you.” The band stopped playing and
Arkatin clapped, she learned that was the appropriate response early in her
stay on Voyager. Amalee climbed down from the stage and ordered the computer to
replace her self with the Amy Lee character.
“Way to go Amalee!” Arkatin said and then pulled her
into a hug. Amalee was still blushing and she pressed her forehead against
Arkatin’s shoulder, just above her breast. She could hear the woman’s heart
beating and it was comforting. She had never sang in front of anyone before, it
was quite an accomplishment and even with her ears down Arkatin could sense
that Amalee was proud of herself.
“That’s the closest thing to a love song that I know
by them.” Amalee blurted out and then pulled away and looked at Arkatin, “Did I
say love? I mean I—“
“I feel the same way Amalee.” Arkatin said and then
smile and brushed some hair out of the lieutenant’s face. She smiled down at
her and they joined in a gaze, it lasted for about 15 seconds before they
kissed. It was a deep passionate kiss, with way more behind it then just lust.
Before finding Amalee on the holodeck today she thought that maybe she would
have another hour of passion with the officer before moving on to her next
target. Her goal was to emotionally connect with as many male crew members on
board as she could. Once they were under her spell she could call in a mutiny
and things would all go according to plan. “There’s something I want to share with you,
on Liffen when we feel very close to a person we transfer memories and become
linked with them until one of us falls for another one. I think I want to do
this with you but you are human and I don’t know how it’ll work.”
“Well I’m willing to at least try, that is if you are
okay with it.” Amalee replied and then smiled, she
also had never felt so close to someone in her entire life. “I have the
holodeck for the next hour and forty five minutes, we could do it now. Computer
run Lynn Paradise 7 alpha.” The concert scene faded and was replaced by the
white sands of a Hawaiian beach. The sun was setting and the waves crashed
gently on the shore. A few feet away was a black
blanket with oil torches at each corner.
“Wow this is very nice, much like the beaches on
Liffen.” Arkatin said and then watched as a few birds flew by. Amalee lead her
to the blanket and then sat down, Arkatin kneeled across from her and reached
for her hands. “First I am going to open the blood flow to the rest of your brain, it’s a common practice for stroke victims on Liffen.
Usually half of their brain shuts down and they lose their telepathy, then
mentally a friend or family member will go into their head and unblock the
parts that are not receiving blood flow. By doing this to you I am assuming
it’ll make you telepathic so don’t be surprised if you start hearing voices
that aren’t your own.”
“Really? I can become telepathic?”
“Yes you can,
humans only use a third of their brains if I open up the blood channels in your
head you will be able to use your whole brain.” She reached out and took
Amalee’s hands in hers and then closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Amalee
closed her eyes too, and gently grasped Arkatin’s hands in hers. They sat there
in silence for maybe five minutes when voices started to sound in Amalee’s
head. They were quiet at first but then the noise grew. At first she was a
little confused and it was getting sort of annoying. She opened her eyes and
saw that Arkatin’s were open too. “Do you hear anything?”
“Yes I hear everything…how do I
make it stop?” Amalee asked, talking loudly to get over the chaos that was in
her head. Arkatin smiled and gently put a hand on the lieutenant’s shoulder.
“Just focus on the sound of my
voice, you can block out the others if you really try and after a little bit it
won’t be hard to do at all, you will be able to single out who you want to read
and when, anyone anywhere on this ship.” Arkatin spoke and as Amalee listened
to her the voices faded to a dull buzz, it was annoying but she could deal with
it if it meant having telepathic capabilities.
“Wow it’s
amazing…I assume it’s like being in a Borg collective.” Amalee replied after another
moment of composing herself. Arkatin was right, it was rather easy to control
what voices she heard and didn’t hear.
“Never been in one myself, maybe
you could ask that Seven of Nine about it.” Arkatin suggested and there was a
rapid fire of thoughts back and fourth, Amalee was really picking up on the
telepathy quickly, “Well if she won’t talk about it, just read her mind. You
can do that now.”
“Nice to
know.” Amalee replied.
“Now, we are going to swap
memories, if there’s anything you don’t want me to know, tell me now and we can
wait.” Arkatin said as she brought her hand off of Amalee’s shoulder and took
her hands. Amalee thought for a moment and then shook her head. It wasn’t that
she wasn’t ashamed of things she had done in the past, but Arkatin was willing
to give up all of her memories for review so turn about was fair play. Arkatin
smiled slightly and closed her eyes, Amalee did the same.
When Amalee opened her eyes
again she was in sick bay. Arkatin was standing next to her arguing with the
doctor, saying that she wanted to talk to a real
person and not just a hologram. Seven was there and Amalee’s eyes settled
on her. She could hear the thoughts of Arkatin and of Seven
and they were oddly comforting. Her head hurt tremendously and suddenly she
recalled every memory that Arkatin had transferred to her brain. She began to
sift through them, there were interesting stories and visuals, the memory of
Arkatin’s mother being killed was the strongest, and she choked back a cry of
disgust as the brutal rape and stabbing flooded her senses.
“Lieutenant Lynn, you’re awake.”
The doctor said, turning away from Arkatin, who looked like she was about three
seconds away from trying to rip him to shreds. He turned back to Arkatin and
said, “Next time you want to fry her brain, please do it in sick bay.”
“I wasn’t trying to fry her brain, she had a common response to the ritual I put her
through.” Arkatin replied and then took Amalee’s hand. “Some people can handle
it, some can’t. She’s fine now though, right?” The Doctor picked up his
tricorder and scanned her, everything seemed to be in order, except, he
noticed, that her brain was working at 100% capacity, three times more then was
needed. He looked at Arkatin but decided that it wasn’t a threat to her overall
well being so he kept his mouth shut.
“I’m fine, really, now lets all stop talking like I’m not here.” Amalee said
assertively, something that was very out of character for her. With her brain
working at full capacity she was starting to feel rather powerful. She looked
over to Seven and caught her eyes.
What is she staring at? Does she wish for me to speak? Seven
thought a little confused but then she broke the gaze and went back to work.
Amalee smiled, sat up, and swung her legs over the side of the bed.
“Everything is just fine Doctor,
now there is a lot Arkatin here wants to discuss with me and it’s sort of
private.” Amalee said and then stood up and took Arkatin’s hand and started to
pull her towards the door. Arkatin looked at her, and once again a rapid fire of ideas were exchanged. Arkatin of course knew
at this point that Amalee knew that she was planning a mutiny. That was quickly
discussed telepathically and then the reassurance that she would not betray
Arkatin to the captain, as long as she got to be second in command. They both
started to laugh as they left the room, the doctor didn’t seem to notice but Seven did and she was surely going to talk to the captain
about it.
After reading about Lt. Lynn,
Seven concluded that she wouldn’t probably get any deeper then the ships logs
and personnel files, she headed towards Janeway’s quarters. The thing she found
most interesting was the fact that Amalee’s brain function was three times
higher then the normal humans. She had read the scan while she was working in
sickbay and was wondering how it happened. It seemed that somehow the relays in
her brain were by passed and were now supplying oxygen to the rest of her
brain. Seven didn’t have much info to go on as to how it had happened.
She knew that Arkatin had
carried Amalee into sickbay and laid her down on the table. Arkatin had told
the doctor that they were doing some sort of ritual, she didn’t say the name of
the ritual she just meowed it, although if Seven was
asked to recall how the meow sounded she could probably duplicate it. She knew
that the ritual consisted of sharing memories, letting both people know about
each other with absolutely no secrets. Seven didn’t really understand why that
would be appealing to anyone, she had, after all, lived in a Borg collective
where there were no secrets and she was glad to be out of it. It seemed that
Amalee had passed out because of the overload of information, but she recovered
quickly and didn’t seem to have any adverse effects, except for the sudden
outburst of assertiveness.
The ship was still docked at the
space station but they were planning to leave in a matter of hours and Seven was going to try to convince the captain to get rid of
Arkatin as soon as possible. She didn’t know why but she sensed danger and it
was a very unsettling feeling. As she was rounding the corner she slammed
directly into Arkatin who was doing no more then standing there looking like
she was waiting for her.
“My precious Seven, you didn’t
think you were going somewhere did you?” Arkatin purred and then started to
move closer into Seven’s space, Arkatin was taller then Seven, but not by too
much, and was a little more then equal when it came to physical strength.
“I have business with the captain, I suggest you move out of my path.” Seven
responded, but Arkatin didn’t move, she just kept glaring into Seven’s eyes. To
Arkatin, Seven’s brain was amazing, it held a lot of information, so it took
her a little while to grab control of it. Without impairing Seven’s thought
process she used her new power over the former drone to get her to walk with her
and away from the captain’s door, “Release me.” Seven outright demanded and
Arkatin laughed loudly and continued to walk. Seven kept right behind her the
whole time.
“Seven honey, you will do what I
want, when I want. You’re lucky I didn’t just scramble your thought process and
turn you into a raving idiot.” Arkatin said without looking behind her. They
passed crew members as they walked and to an on looker it basically seemed like
they were both walking together. Seven tried to make gestures that she needed
help, but Arkatin was keeping a tight leash on all of her physical functions. She
was allowing Seven to walk on her own while using her brain to strongly suggest
that she follow. Arkatin could of course control Seven’s ability to walk but
she didn’t see the need in that just yet.
Arkatin lead Seven
all the way to Amalee’s door and pressed the button outside to let her know she
was there. After a moment the doors opened and Amalee was half dressed in her
uniform, enough to cover herself but not ready to go to her shift just yet.
Half of her hair was down and it fell over her shoulder and the other half was
pinned up. She was holding hair clips in her mouth and she looked a bit
startled at the whole turn of events.
Arkatin it’s nice to see you but I have an hour until my shift. Amalee
thought at the cat woman.
Yes and for that hour would you rather do your hair or have fun with
the woman of your dreams? Arkatin thought back and then motioned to Seven. This conversation in their heads took only a few seconds
and so Seven was utterly confused as to what was
taking place, since she herself was not a telepath. I can make her do whatever you want, or I could just restrain her and
let you go at it.
Oh that’s so nice! Amalee replied and then motioned for them to
come in. Once they did the doors hissed closed and Arkatin urged Seven over to
the bed. She looked at it and then to Amalee and back to Arkatin. Just make it so she can’t move, I’ll do the
rest.
No
problem, I like watching Arkatin
replied and they both laughed, that was the only sound Seven heard between
them, but all of this was happening lightening fast. Suddenly Seven was hurled onto the bed, seemingly like an invisible
force had just come out of the air and knocked her flat on her back on the bed.
Arkatin took a step back and then sat down in a near by chair. It was easy to
hold Seven down with her brain, she had held much
stronger people against their will, this was a piece of cake.
“You will discontinue your
actions and release me.” Seven out right demanded, her voice didn’t falter.
Amalee got on top of Seven, straddling her almost
perfect body. She put her hands on the woman’s breasts and massaged them
gently. Seven was unable to make any move to contradict this from happening.
“Lieutenant Lynn, you will stop this right now.”
“I will not comply.” Amalee said
and then laughed loudly. She had always wanted to say that to the drone and now
she had, and she would be damned if she said it didn’t feel good. She leaned
down and pressed her lips against Seven’s. At first Seven kept her mouth
tightly shut but after another moment her mouth opened. Amalee’s tongue dived
straight in, and she found that Seven was actually
kissing her back. Amalee paused and then pulled away and looked at Arkatin.
What’s wrong?
She’s
kissing me back, you don’t have to make her do that. Amalee thought at Arkatin. A smile spread across the
half feline’s lips.
I’m not making her do anything, the only control I have over her is
holding her to the bed. Arkatin said, then it was
Amalee’s turn to smile. Use your mind to
read her, take in her feelings, what is she feeling now? Amalee paused and
looked down into Seven’s eyes. There were tears welling up in them, making her
eyes shimmer in the little light that was provided. Amalee took in a deep
breath and tried to penetrate Seven’s emotions. What she immediately felt was
arousal, but a stronger feeling behind that was fear…not just fear, absolute
terror.
She’s afraid….
And
isn’t that the sweetest feeling in the whole universe, that you have power over
her, she belongs to you…Arkatin
thought back at her. If Amalee was bigger, taller, stronger, even
a little aggressive before this moment she wouldn’t have felt the power. Being
as how she was a tiny woman who never had control over anything in her life,
who never had anyone fear her, she was absolutely loving
it. She could have gotten off on the power trip alone.
“You belong to me.” Amalee
growled into Seven’s ear and then gently leaned over to lick the single tear
that was making it’s way down Seven’s cheek. As far as
Amalee could read, Seven wasn’t very aware that she
was crying, she was more afraid then anything at that point and crying was a
very involuntary response to that emotion. Before Amalee could do any further
damage to Seven’s psyche her comm
badge chirped. She rolled her eyes and tapped it, even with this new found
power she was still B’Elanna’s bitch until Arkatin
and her managed to take over the ship. “Lieutenant Lynn
here.”
“You were supposed to be in
engineering ten minutes ago, seeing how this is the first time ever you have
been running late I’ll let it slide. I expect to see you within the next five
minutes.” B’Elanna snapped. Amalee winced slightly and then climbed off of Seven and stood up. She pulled on the jacket of her uniform
and zipped it up.
“Duty calls,” Amalee said and
then walked over to Arkatin and leaned down and kissed her, “How are we going
to make sure Seven doesn’t report this.”
“I’ll take care of things, don’t
worry about her okay?” Arkatin replied and offered Amalee a smile. Amalee
smiled back, waved goodbye and headed out of the room. After she was gone,
Arkatin continued the hold on Seven for just a moment
before letting go. Once the former drone realized she could move she sat straight
up. That didn’t stop Arkatin from doing what she did next. She leapt from her
spot in the chair onto the bed pinning Seven down with her body this time, not
her mind. They were quite evenly matched, but Arkatin was just a tad bit
stronger, which was good because she didn’t want to get her ass kicked. The
claws in her hands splayed out and with an almost eerie precision she ripped
off the front of Seven’s uniform, exposing her chest.
“This ends now.” Seven said and
then back handed Arkatin across the face. Arkatin growled and without warning
she bit down on Seven’s shoulder, piercing the soft flesh through the tattered
remains of her uniform. Seven cried out in pain and Arkatin shoved her back
down onto the bed. She held Seven in place with one
hand on her throat, squeezing slightly. Since her claws were out, they rested
on Seven’s jugular and she noticed. In one split second move Arkatin could rip
into her throat and kill her if she wanted to.
“Yes but it ends the way I want
it to.” Arkatin replied and then leaned down and kissed Seven. The woman was
aroused, there was no mistaking that, and because of her heightened senses
Arkatin could smell it. In a blur of
hand movements Arkatin ripped a hole in the fabric of Seven’s outfit just above
the crotch. She took in a deep breath, retracted the claws on her right hand
and slid a finger into the hole and then into Seven’s
wet pussy. Seven groaned but then bit down on her lip and tried to silence herself. Arkatin was reading the fear and utter confusion
Seven was feeling. Seven had never been in a sexual act with anyone, nor had
she ever masturbated. She had been aroused before, but had suppressed the
feeling, the mere act of someone trying to do something sexual to her aroused
her body whether she liked it or not.
Arkatin maneuvered her finger in
and out, it was tight, hot, and wet. Seven would hold
her breath to keep from moaning and let it out in quick gasps before pulling
more air in and holding it. Arkatin linked with her and she could feel Seven approaching climax. Her left hand stayed at Seven’s
throat, her claws still resting against the throbbing vein in her neck. Seven
really had no choice but to lay back and take this, unless she wanted to be
drained of blood. With a gasping sob, Seven orgasmed,
her hips bucked up and she rode the waves of pleasure and unbelievable
humiliation. When she had calmed down enough, Arkatin removed both hands from
her body but kept her pinned in place with her legs.
“Now Seven,
we can’t have you telling anyone about this.” Arkatin said and then started to
lick the juices that Seven had produced from her
finger. She started to purr even louder then she already was. Seven glared
daggers at her. “So I’m just going to remove this event from your brain, okay?”
“You will not—“
“SHUT UP!” Arkatin yelled at her
and then slapped her across the face, opening a deep cut on her cheek just
under her right eye, “Now hold still and be a good girl or I’ll have to hurt
you more.” She placed her hand on Seven’s face and held it in place so their
eyes were connected. Another tear rolled down Seven’s cheek and Arkatin smiled
deviously. A moment later, the world around Seven Of
Nine vanished, and she welcomed the silence.
Title:
Everybody’s Fool
Part
III
Disclaimer:
I don’t profit from this story, I wish I did but really, who would put this
crap on TV? And barring that, who would act in it? LoL!
I’m just borrowing characters for my twisted little world.
Lieutenant Lynn was working in
engineering, doing a mundane progress report at her station. B’Elanna was none
to happy that she was late, so Amalee said that she would stay an extra hour to
make up for it. This made B’Elanna happy and so Amalee reported to her station
and began to work. About ten minutes into the report she started to hum to
herself. She didn’t realize the irony of going from dominating one woman to
being dominated by another, but her brain was on other things. Things like
mutiny. As she thought of this her humming got louder, and then she started to
sing softly. The soft singing turned into louder singing, she entered into her
own little world.
“All my friends are gone, they
died, they all screamed and cried,” She sang, her voice slowly elevating, the
next part she sang even louder, “I’m gonna take you
down! GONNA TAKE YOU DOWN! GONNA TAKE YOU DOWN!” As she sang she thought of
captain Janeway and this brought a smile to her face. She barely realized that
everyone had stopped working and was listening to her.
“All of my hate cannot be found, I will not be drowned by your thoughtless scheming…”
“Lieutenant Lynn!” B’Elanna
barked from right behind her causing Amalee to nearly jump out of her skin,
“This is engineering, not open mike night.” She heard a few of the other
officers start to snicker as her cheeks flared up bright red.
“Sorry.” She squeaked out and
then went back to work. She opened up her brain and started to read what people
were thinking about her. Mostly she read that people were annoyed, some of them
thought they didn’t know she was such a good singer, but one thought came to
her attention She’s hot and she has a hot
voice, what a catch she would be. Amalee turned and looked over at the
woman that thought was coming from. It was Lt. Monica Edwards. Monica was a
tall, thin woman, with long brown hair and amazing green eyes. She stood at
five feet nine inches, and so that made her nine inches taller then Amalee, she
was also almost as tall at Arkatin. Until that point Amalee had no idea that
Monica was interested in women, but now she knew and later she could approach
her.
“Janeway to
“
“Report to
sickbay immediately.” Janeway responded sounding way more pissed off
then usual. Amalee looked at B’Elanna who just nodded at her. Amalee turned to
steal one last glance of Lt. Edwards, who was smiling flirtatiously at her,
before walking out of sickbay and heading to sickbay. As she walked she used
her telepathy to locate Arkatin, only to find that she was also in sickbay. She
was not reading that Arkatin was hurt, so that was a good thing, but she
wondered why she was in sickbay and how she could possibly be connected to any
problems.
“What’s going on?” She asked as
she entered sickbay, only to see Seven sitting on a
bio-bed looking annoyed as the doctor tended to a deep cut on her cheek. Her
uniform had been torn and she had strategically managed to barely cover her
breasts with the cloth that was left. Arkatin was arguing with captain Janeway
and it looked like the doctor had given up on trying to keep
them quiet.
“Lt. Lynn, maybe you could shed
some light on why Seven Of Nine was found like this in
your quarters.” Captain Janeway said, cutting off her argument with Arkatin
swiftly. Arkatin folded her arms over her chest and looked at Amalee. Amalee
looked just as surprised as everyone else in the room, except for Seven who just looked pissed off.
“She was in my room? Am I being
accused of something?” She looked at Arkatin and shot her a telepathic message,
What’s going on here? I think you screwed up big
time and I am not taking the fall for something that you did so you better…
“I was minding my own business, and on my way to Lt.
“When did this attack take place? I was most likely in
engineering.” Amalee said maintaining her very innocent tone of voice. Seven
shoved the doctor out of the way and stood up, covering her remarkable chest
with her hands.
“I am missing fifteen minutes of
memory as of ten minutes ago.” Seven said and then walked towards Amalee
assertively. Amalee took a step back and swallowed hard. Janeway stepped up
next to her and put a gentle hand on her arm to stop her approach.
“Lt. Lynn, where were you for
the past half hour?” Janeway asked, her voice sounded rather accusing.
“I was at my post, you can ask
Lt. Torres.” Amalee said, “I was running late but I have been there for the
past half hour.” She shied away from the menacing look that Seven
had on her face. The cut on her cheek was healed and now that she didn’t look
wounded she looked like she was going to attack anything that moved.
“I will be checking with Lt. Torres but seeing
as how I have never even had a hint of a problem with you I highly doubt that
you had anything to do with this.” Janeway said, her voice sounding a bit more calm that time. She’s
very small, tiny even, how would I ever believe that she could over power Seven
enough for an attack? Janeway thought, almost like it was a mantra running
through her head. Amalee tried her hardest not to look annoyed or offended. She
really hated the fact that people thought she couldn’t do anything because she
was small, and now that she could read minds she could only confirm the fact
that people thought that.
“Thank you captain, I’m glad you
believe me.” She replied, not realizing that her hands were clenching into
fists so tight that her nails were drawing blood from the sensitive skin on her
palms. Arkatin walked over, stepped behind her, and put her hands on Amalee’s
shoulders. “Should I report back to my post?”
“Yes, if I need you later I will
find you.” Janeway said and Amalee nodded and headed for the door, Arkatin turned
to follow her, “Miss. Nixherd can I have a moment of your time please?”
Go back to engineering, I’ll meet up with you
later. Don’t worry, everything is completely under my
control. Arkatin thought at her.
You better, because if not we are both going to the brig for a very
long time. Amalee thought back without even looking in Arkatin’s direction
and then stepped out into the corridor. Arkatin turned to look at Janeway and
smiled softly.
“Sure, what can I help you
with?” Arkatin said sweetly. She wanted nothing more then to pounce on the
captain and have her way with her but she knew there would be time for that
later. She couldn’t wait for it either, she had read in Janeway’s brain that
the woman had an attraction to Seven Of Nine, and she
was overly upset that someone would attack her so brutally.
“I find it rather convenient
that you found Seven in the state she was in.” Janeway
said in an accusatory voice. Arkatin had been accused of a lot of things, it was her ability to smooth talk her way out of
them that made her almost the perfect criminal. No one suspected a trophy wife
on Liffen to do more then be able to tie her own shoes. Of course it was clear
that Janeway saw how smart she actually was, and for once it felt good that
someone was actually trying to give her credit for her actions.
“What exactly do you mean? It
was a complete accident…”
“I believe I know what the
captain is getting at. You brought Lieutenant Lynn in after she passed out on
the holodeck, and you also brought me to sickbay while I was unconscious.” Seven
replied looking from Arkatin to Janeway. Janeway nodded slightly, Seven was dead on. Arkatin pushed a strand of hair out of
her face and looked at the both of them.
“I was with Amalee when she
passed out, and I freely admit that I was the cause of her mental overload. As
for Seven it was a coincidence and nothing more.”
Arkatin said, for a moment she was glad that neither Seven nor Janeway could
read minds. Not because they could read hers, that had nothing to do with it,
but because they could have read Amalee’s. Arkatin could block unwanted
intruders from reading her thoughts but she didn’t think that Amalee had the
same ability, at least not yet. Janeway was not satisfied by this answer, but
she was willing to let Arkatin have the benefit of the doubt.
“I don’t want any mysterious
coincidences, just one more and you leave my ship, I don’t care how non
operational your ship is.” Janeway replied and then took Seven’s arm, “Come
with me lets get you cleaned up.” Seven looked at Janeway and almost smiled.
Arkatin smiled, just slightly and watched them leave as Seven continued to
cover her breasts with her arms. Only fifteen minutes ago the ship pulled away
from the space station and within the next twenty four hours, Arkatin would put
her plan of mutiny into full swing.
Amalee’s door chimed just as she
was about to climb into bed and sleep. She really felt like ignoring whoever
was at the door, but she wasn’t like that. “Come in.” She called and then laid down on her bed and placed her head on the pillow.
B’Elanna had worked her hard for that extra hour she had stayed and now all she
wanted to do was sleep for eight hours, have breakfast in the morning, and go
back to work. She had almost completely forgotten about the whole mutiny thing,
it was in the back of her mind but at that point she didn’t care who was
running the ship as long as she got some rest. Arkatin walked in with a smile
on her face. Amalee turned her head to see who it was, she let a small smile
cross her face as she saw who it was.
“Come on, I need to teach you
how to fight.” Arkatin said and then walked over to the bed and took Amalee’s
hand in hers, “That hand to hand combat Starfleet teaches you is for wimps.” Amalee groaned and let herself be pulled into
a sitting position.
“Arkatin, I am not Liffen, I
need sleep.” Amalee replied and then tried to hide a yawn by covering her mouth
with the back of her hand.
“Drink some of that stuff the
captain likes, the stuff with caffeine.” Arkatin replied and managed to pull
her so she was standing. Amalee laughed slightly, she couldn’t believe that the
word “coffee” escaped Arkatin, but considering she had learned about it only
hours ago she was doing a good job describing it.
“I don’t like to drink coffee it
makes me all jittery.” Amalee replied but walked over to the replicator anyway.
“Why do you need to teach me how to fight? With your negotiating skills we can
get all the weapons that we want.”
“Yes I know that, but, the
captain is better at hand to hand combat then you are…more well versed in it I
should say, and you don’t know power until you’ve brought someone down with
your own two hands.” Arkatin said her voice growing a bit more excited. Amalee
thought that she had a point, it might be fun to fight Janeway but did Arkatin
truly think that she was strong enough? Then again most hand to hand combat
taught a person how to use their opponents energy
against them. She was small and never interested in physical combat,
she barely passed that when she was in the academy. She hadn’t even tried to
maintain adequacy in that area, by now she probably sucked at it.
“Computer,
iced mocha.” Amalee said after another moment of thinking about it. The
cup appeared in the replicator and so she took it and drank a few gulps.
“You’re sure you can teach me? I mean look at me, I’m not really fighting
material.”
“Everyone is fighting material,
and I know you intimately, once you want to be good at something you give it
all you got. Who knows, maybe you’ll take down even me.” Arkatin said and then
laughed. Amalee laughed too, she was quite positive that she would never be
able to take down a species that put so much importance on physical combat. She
downed the rest of her iced coffee and set the glass down on the table.
“Where are we going to do it?
Certainly not here, I mean there’s barely room for me to breathe in here.”
Amalee said, she wasn’t complaining, she actually really liked her room it was
just big enough for one person, why would she need extra space?
“I persuaded some random ensign
into giving me his holodeck time so that’s where we are going.” Arkatin said
and then took a seat in a nearby chair. Amalee picked up some casual clothes
that she had tossed at the foot of the bed earlier that day and started to get
changed out of her black silk nightgown. She pulled it over her head, her back
to Arkatin, and reached to pick up her lavender tank top. “I haven’t seen
breasts in a few hours, turn around and let me see.” Amalee giggled and turned
to look at Arkatin.
“There, are you happy?” Amalee
asked, she was now just in a pair of white panties, they weren’t meant to be
sexy but in a way they almost were at that moment. “We can have sex later, right now I’m getting all excited to learn how to
fight.” She pulled on her tank top and then a pair of black pants and reached
for her shoes.
“Good, that’s the spirit
Amalee!” Arkatin enthused, “I know you’ll be just great at it.” Amalee finished
putting on her boots and then grabbed her comm badge
from the nightstand and placed it on her shirt. She walked over to Arkatin and
grabbed her arm and started to pull her out of the room. She didn’t bother to
read what ensign she had persuaded or how she persuaded him into giving up his
holodeck privileges but she was happy and ready to go.
Two hours and quite a few spars
later, Arkatin and Amalee were resting in the natural
“Can’t we just hurry up with
this mutiny thing?” She asked Arkatin, her eyes half closed, she was ready to
fall asleep right there. Arkatin laughed and put her arm around Amalee and
pulled her in close. She leaned in and whispered softly into her ear.
“These things take time.”
“I know but I really don’t want
to go into engineering tomorrow I want to sleep.” Amalee said softly turning so
their lips were barely an inch apart. Arkatin leaned in and kissed her
passionately, a kiss which she returned with equal passion. Arkatin’s hand
roamed downward, across Amalee’s flat stomach until she slid a finger into her
waiting cunt. Amalee groaned loudly and arched her
hips trying to draw more of the finger inside of her. Arkatin pulled her into
another kiss and this time they only broke for air before continuing the kiss
once more.
Arkatin’s finger moved in and
out gracefully, Amalee moaned into the kiss continually. Soon her hands were
roaming over Arkatin’s body, over her breasts, stopping there for a moment to
massage the supple skin and pinch at each nipple in turn. Arkatin started to
moan herself, thrusting her chest forward, desperate for more contact. Amalee
pulled away from the kiss and positioned herself so she was straddling Arkatin,
making sure the finger was still buried deep inside of her. Arkatin added
another finger and Amalee ducked down to take Arkatin’s right nipple into her
mouth. Arkatin’s purring got louder and it could be heard under the moans she
was making.
Arkatin opened her eyes and
gently, with her free hand, she pulled Amalee’s head up so their eyes
connected. At that moment they were psychically joined together. Arkatin could
feel Amalee’s pleasure and Amalee could feel hers. It was nothing like Amalee
had ever experienced before but it was amazing, she could feel the pure animal
lust that was resonating from Arkatin’s body. Amalee cried out, a cry that was
almost like a scream. Don’t close your
eyes, keep looking at me Arkatin’s voice resounded in her head. Amalee wanted
to close her eyes, she almost couldn’t stand the pleasure she was feeling, but
she kept her eyes opened and linked with Arkatin’s. A moment later Amalee’s
body shook with a powerful orgasm and Arkatin’s body followed. Sharing an
orgasm with another person was almost over powering and Amalee started to see
stars. She had to remind herself to breathe, and then the stars passed and her
vision became normal again.
“Oh my god.”
Amalee said after catching her breath, she pulled away from Arkatin and sat down
next to her. Arkatin brought her arms around Amalee and pulled her in close,
“That was like nothing I’ve ever felt before, in my life.”
“Just wait until you get your
first taste of power.” Arkatin whispered into her ear and Amalee’s whole body
shuddered. She knew exactly what Arkatin meant, and she would get her chance to
taste that power in just a few hours. She was ready for anything, Arkatin had
taught her how to fight by reading her opponents mind, that way she would be
able to predict every move coming at her. She knew that with this skill she
would be able to take down the captain and Seven of Nine, maybe both at the
same time. She smiled, she was very pleased with
herself. “Lets go back to your room, I’ll lay with you
until you fall asleep.”
“Sounds good
enough to me.” Amalee replied and then climbed out of the
“Very good, three is always
better then two. Just try to be vague on the details with her, okay?” Arkatin
replied and smiled at Amalee, her sparkling white fangs shone in the artificial
sunlight of the holodeck.
“Can do, but for now….I need
sleep.” Amalee said as she pulled on her shirt. Arkatin zipped up her skirt and
pulled her shirt down before walking over to Amalee and putting an arm around
her. Together they walked out of the holodeck passed an ensign who seemed quite
interested in the fact that they were both female and holding each other in
such an intimate embrace. Both of the women read his thoughts and then laughed
out loud. Things were going to get so much worse for the Voyager crew in a few
hours, but Amalee was going to be a part of it, so on
the flip side, things would be getting a lot better for her.
After her shift in engineering,
Amalee decided she was going to get something to eat, only because that’s what
she read lieutenant Monica was going to do. She wanted to talk to Monica and
thought that the best icebreaker would be to ask for a seat at her table. She
arrived at the mess hall about ten minutes after Monica had gotten there. She
already had her food and was looking around for a table, two ensigns saw that
she was left without a seat and they almost obediently got up and moved to
other spaces. Monica looked at them and smiled, before sitting down at her very
own table. Amalee was intrigued by this and started to approach Monica as she
took a bite out of her burger. Amalee assumed it was replicated, seeing as how
it did not smell like Neelix was serving burgers.
“Mind if I join you?” Amalee
asked in a soft voice, Monica looked up at her and swallowed her food.
“You’re Amalee, the girl who was
singing in engineering the other day.” Monica said and then picked up one of
her French fries, “You’re cute, you can sit.” She
motioned to the chair across the table from her and Amalee sat down.
“Yeah that was me singing,”
Amalee said and then started to blush. She was able to read that Monica was a
very opinionated woman. All sorts of thoughts flew through her head and Amalee
was not going to be surprised if she said exactly what was on her mind.
“You hang out with that cat thing, I’ve seen you two together. If you’re fucking her
then you better leave me alone now. I have no time for people who aren’t
interested in a relationship or a business transaction.” Monica said and then
took another bite of her burger. Amalee could have read her mind to see what
she meant by a business transaction, but instead she decided to ask.
“First of all, Arkatin and I are
just friends. Secondly, what kind of business transaction would I be making
with you?” Amalee said after a moment. She couldn’t help but smile, she really
liked Monica’s attitude, it was very much a put up or
shut up way of dealing with things. Monica chewed her food slowly an then swallowed. After licking her teeth over with her
tongue to make sure there was no food in them, she smiled at Amalee.
“I write stories for people on
this ship. The old fashioned way, in books with a pen, you see I never wanted
to be a lieutenant. Hell I don’t even know how I got promoted. Captain bitchway had a boner for me or something. Anywho, people
commission me to write custom stories for them. If you were measuring wealth on
this ship by replicator rations or holodeck time, I’d be the richest bitch on
this ship.” Monica said. Amalee was surprised to hear Monica refer to captain Janeway
that way, and she deeply wanted to know why she harbored hatred for the woman.
Once again she resisted the urge to just read Monica’s mind. She thought it was
rude to do when trying to have an actual conversation with someone.
“You don’t like the captain?”
“Oh I like her, if she’s naked
on my bed….but she really screwed up my plans for the future by getting us lost
out here. I thought I’d be gone for like a year, I was
only doing this to shut my father up. He wanted me to go through the academy and
become an officer for at least a year before he let me run off and be an
author. So I said, sure why not? It’s only a year and it’ll take about that
long for the paperwork to go through on my novel. Now it’s year six and where
the fuck am I? In the god forsaken
delta quadrant with a woman at the helm who likes to study shit. We ain’t never gettin home Amalee….mark my words.” Monica said
and then popped a French fry into her mouth. Amalee’s eyes went wide for a
moment and then adjusted so she didn’t look so surprised. Maybe Monica wouldn’t
be very opposed to the idea of a mutiny, although she couldn’t just announce
her and Arkatin’s plans in the middle of a crowded mess hall, so she bit her
tongue.
“Well I can see why you are
upset. Your stories are good enough that people give up holodeck time and
replicator rations?” Amalee asked, Monica swallowed and nodded, “What are your
stories about?”
“Oh anything
really, sci-fi, horror, drama, angst, erotic….the most popular being erotic.”
Monica replied and then picked up her burger, “You want one? It’ll cost you
three days rations for every thirty pages, or one hour of holodeck time. When
you run out of that stuff, I take valuable material possession, or
you can just offer to do nice things for me, like get up and move when there
are no seats in the mess hall and I want to eat.” She took another bite and
motioned at the two ensigns who had just stood up and offered her a seat.
Amalee was guessing that these stories were pretty damn good if Monica was
profiting from them as well as she was. “For two weeks of rations I’ll write
you a hundred page story about you and the crew member
of your choice….if you get what I’m saying.”
“Sounds
interesting. Do you have any sample work I can look at?” Amalee asked
hoping that that would be a gateway into Monica’s room. Monica nodded slowly
and finished her burger. She slid the plate out to Amalee,
there were still a few fries on it. Amalee didn’t have to be a mind reader to
know that Monica was offering her the rest of them. She hadn’t had French fries
in a very long time, so she picked up two and crammed them into her mouth. She
was a lucky woman, being as how she could eat everything and anything she
wanted and not gain any weight.
“My stories are awesome at least
I get credit here. I would prefer money and fame but I get replicator rations
and holodeck time. I have procured quite an array of personal items that are
good for trading when on shore leave. The great thing about it is these people
will have my written word for years to come and I get to live like a queen.”
Monica said and then laughed. Amalee nodded and finished off the rest of the
fries.
“I would love to see some of
your work.” Amalee said with a mouth half full of food. Monica stood up and
motioned for her to follow. Amalee smiled and as she left with Monica she
noticed one of the ensigns who had given up their seat move and clear Monica’s
tray of food. Amalee was really starting to like Monica’s lifestyle.
When they got to Monica’s room,
Amalee immediately noticed that it was full of stuff. Expensive artwork adorned
the walls, and on a small desk with a chair behind it there sat quite a few
leather bound old fashioned books. Some of them were only an inch think, a few of them were three or more inches thick. They
were all very beautiful and looked hand crafted. Monica walked over to the desk
and opened a drawer and pulled out another leather bound book that was about an
inch thick and held it out in Amalee’s direction. Amalee took it and opened it
up, the handwriting inside was immaculate. She didn’t know why she expected it
to look like chicken scratch, but it was so far away from it, almost as if it
had been printed by a machine.
“This is your handwriting?”
Amalee said, at that point she was more amazed at the handwriting then the
actual content. Monica smiled and Amalee read her mind, only to find out that
very many people had complimented on her handwriting before now.
“Yeah I took a calligraphy class
for two years as an extra-curricular credit. Looks like it paid off huh?”
Monica said not sounding the least bit modest about her work, “The book I just
gave you is a sample book. It has a short story in each genre that I write in,
you can keep that for about a week to read over it and then let me know what
kind of story you want and we can discuss the subject of payment.” Amalee
nodded slightly, barely even hearing the words, she
was already engrossed in the first story which was labeled “Horror Story Sample
1”.
“Thanks, I’ll read through it
and get back to you.”
“You know I’ve got some holodeck
time before I am going to get down to work on another installment of a custom
story….I was just going to mess around there, unless you have any programs you
would like to show me.” Monica said as she stepped closer to Amalee and looked
over her shoulder. Amalee almost said
no because she was so engrossed in the book but then her brain shouted at her
that Monica was trying to hit on her and she shut the book and looked to the
lieutenant.
“Ever heard of the 21st
century band, Evanescence?” Amalee said as she tucked the book under her arm.
“Can’t say I have but if their
music is anything like what you were singing in engineering I’d love to hear
some.” Monica replied and then traced a finger up Amalee’s neck and over her
ear lobe. Amalee shuddered slightly and then a smile crossed her face.
“I think you’re gonna love em.” Amalee said and
took Monica’s hand in hers gently. Together they walked out of the room towards
the holodeck, for the first time in days Amalee was not thinking of Arkatin.
