He doesn't wear plate gold or silver,
No he doesn't wear a plume upon his brow,
No, he's not that kind of knight,
But he's my hero.

He never asks "why?"
When they say its time to go
He just pulls on his boots
And says a prayer
For he remembers well all of his brother's who've died
Answering that call

He doesn't carry a shield,
No he doesn't wheeled a bow,
But he carries a sward, proud and keen,
But not to war.

He's always willing,
Ever ready,

He wears Red, White, and Blue
From head to tow.
Those colors run deep in his veins,
Even when he's all dressed in green.
