Merry Christmas ***************

We finally were able to make back it to Donetsk Ukraine again to bring in a shipment of humanitarian supplies and visit our friends. Renate called a pharmacy which was offering a good price on blood sugar meters for diabetics which we could give to a group of diabetic children whom we have been helping regularly. They suggested that we contact their distributor, who donated several machines and test strips. This person recommended that we contact a colleague of his and through a series of recommendations we were able to fill 2 large suitcases of meters, test strips and insulin to bring to them. Dertour travel agency donated 2 air and rail tickets to Yalta,  Renate went with Sean to the Ukraine and I stayed back with the other children.

This Christmas we organized a show with some of our children's friends. We put together 2 skits and a few songs. We booked the shows in old folks homes and an orphanage. The show was a complete success.
