Utgard is an immense bear like man, standing 6-½ foot tall, and weighing
nearly 20 stone; his long, bushy, unkempt hair and beard add greatly to this
overall impression as does his fierce temper and prodigious strength.
Possessive of enormous power, Utgard’s frame is vast; huge shoulders and a
thick powerful neck, compliment brawny arms, thick legs and a barrel chest.
Like his fellow North Isles countrymen, Utgard is a hirsute individual, and
he opts to wear his hair and beard long and shaggy, his hair cascades down
his back in an unruly mass and his beard sprouts to obscure his features and
cover his throat and upper chest. Utgard is a descendant of a long line of
warriors, and has no mean history in this field himself, as such his face
and body bare testament to his life style, with vivid scars and scar tissue
liberally covering his face and torso, his nose crooked and his grin
scattered with broken and missing teeth. Utgard sports three gold earrings
in his right ear, and several small ‘Warrior Rings’ attached to small braids
in his beard. The Warrior Ring being made from the tips of his defeated
enemies weapons, moulded into small rings and worn with pride, his fingers
are similarly adorned. Whilst Utgard favours the axe, he is also proficient
with sword, dagger, spear and hammer. Utgard usually wears large, heavy
furs, a chain shirt over leather armour, and a Viking helm, with nose guard.
