On Monday we got evacuated from Lost Valley.The fire got too close and so the forest service evacuated us from camp.Since we didn't have enough vehicles we could only take our sleeping bags and what we could carry on our laps.I had to sit in the trunk of an SUV for the 11 mile dirt road down. We also had to leave our bikes at Lost Valley because we didn't have time to hook up the u-haul to bring them down.We got home at 1:30 AM. Then we got into Trask(another camp) and I got three merit badges.On Friday we learned that we could go back to Lost Valley and get our stuff. Our scoutmasters went back up there to get our bikes and any gear that we left. We learnd that the fire got within 3 miles of camp but no damage was done to camp property.On Saturday we got all our bikes and gear back.
