Mission Statement
While the Mission Statement of the Heart to Heart Advocacy Group is being formulated, the following Statement of Purpose is provided.
The purpose of the Heart to Heart Advocacy Group is to:
 | endeavour to generate awareness, understanding, acceptance and hopefully, resolution to issues affecting those individuals who are disabled either through physical circumstance, terminal or chronic health problem or mental health issue; |
| and for those who voluntarily provide in home care for those individuals whether they be family member or friend. |
The purpose will be fulfilled through:
| research, |
| networking, |
| compilation of data received from questionnaires filled out by visitors, |
| making information and resources available on Heart to Heart, |
| ensuring visitors are kept up to date on the progress of advocacy initiatives and |
| actively participating in efforts to affect positive change and generate awareness pertaining to the circumstances of caregivers and disabled individuals. |
