A CHRISTIAN FATHER AND MOTHER
I was born to A CHRISTIAN FATHER AND MOTHER if I were given a choice, I'd have no other. They raised me in a Christian home, although at times in my life, no one would have known.
When I was a child, they planted a seed, because they knew in this life, that I would need. God, was that seed planted so deeply in my mind, they prayed one day, in my heart I would find.
My Father passed away when I was a teen, his love for God is what I had seen. His prayer was answered before he died, my soul was saved by the grace of God.
I was left with my dear CHRISTIAN MOTHER, if I were given a choice, I'd have no other. She continued to raise me in a Christian home, although at times in my life, no one would have know.
Yes...God came into my life when I was saved but He wasn't pleased with the way I behaved. I searched the world over for some kind of security, because I was so blind to the seed of eternity
He chastened me because I was His child it saddened Him to see, that my life was so wild. What happened to that seed, planted so deeply in my mind, that my CHRISTIAN FATHER AND MOTHER prayed I'd find?
One day, my little world seemed to have come to an end, and I realized it was something only God could mend.
I remembered that seed in this life, I so despirately need. it was hidden somewhere in the back of my mind, oh...but it was in my heart they prayed I'd find.
I thank God for A CHRISTIAN FATHER AND MOTHER if I were given a choice, I'd have no other. For if I wasn't born unto them, in my heart, I might not have Him!
KNOCKING AT YOUR HEARTS DOOR
Jesus is KNOCKING AT YOUR HEARTS DOOR, asking to come in forever more. God gave His Son, to die on a cross, that we may have security, instead of a loss.
When we were born, it was a time to begin, we must realize our life shall come to an end. Time passes quickly as a twinkling of an eye, not knowing when it's our time to die.
God promises everlasting life hereafter, if we believe in His word, accepting Him as our Master. Jesus is KNOCKING AT YOUR HEARTS DOOR. Want you let Him in.....forever more?
All that He asked is for us to receive. It is my choice for me to believe. A time will come we'll have no choice, will you be sad, or join me and rejoice?
KNOCK.......KNOCK......
REVELATION 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me. KJV.
GOD IS EVERYWHERE
I can't help but have a peaceful sensation, as I look around this beautiful creation. There's the sun, sitting abroad in space, so we have warmth surrounding this place.
There's the trees great and small, with green green grass about them all. There's the flowers ready for Spring, and the that joyfully sing.
There's a white cloud floating above a whisper of wind with a message of love. No matter where I look, there's peace with in the air, but then again, GOD IS EVERYWHERE.
IN TIMES LIKE THESE
Often this life brings us things we just don't understand, IN TIMES LIKE THESE we must grasp our Fathers' hand.
One day, all things will become more clearer when we see our Fathers' face IN TIMES LIKE THESE we must depend on our Fathers' grace.
IN TIMES LIKE THESE we feel we're left with sadness, but the comfort knowing she's with our Father replaces it all with gladness.
IN TIMES LIKE THESE we may feel we're given a test, may we remember whatever the case our Father knows what's best.
in loving memory of Ashleigh Burke
FORGIVE ME, FATHER
FORGIVE ME, FATHER I have sinned against Thee. I feel so unworthy, of what Thou hast given to me.
The more that I try seems the harder the fight. Then I find I've only fallen, clean out of Thy sight.
FORGIVE ME, FATHER for the sins I've committed, through Jesus Christ, my Savior, which my plea is transmitted.
Thank You for Thy Son, Who shed His precious blood for my sin, or this battle would be over, and I wouldn't win.
In Jesus name I pray......Amen.
