ABBA The Movie is the story of an Australian radio D.J. who tries to get an interview with the supergroup themselves. On his quest to get this illusive interview he follows the group all over Australia while they were on tour.

The movie was mainly filmed using footage from the concerts ABBA performed with a little bit of acting provided on the side by a few Australian actors. ABBA did little acting if any at all. There were a few scences filmed in Sweden after the tour but they were used for a dream sequence where one of their songs played, so there were no speaking parts used then.
