- C. KEEPER PLAYERS
- Each owner must keep no less and no more than five players.
- Each owner will be permitted to keep the five players for life or until the owner chooses to make a change.
- On Jan. 31 (or around that date depending on calendar each year), each owner must submit their list of five keeper players to the commissioner. At that time the commissioner will release the list to each owner.
- At the conclusion of the season, each owner retains the rights to his players until the keeper deadline. Once the keeper players are announced, the rest of players automatically become free agents.
- For a 10-day period, Feb. 1 to Feb. 10 (or around that date depending on calendar each year), owners are permitted to trade keepers players and draft picks. But each trade must even. For example 1 keeper and 1 draft pick for 1 keeper and 1 draft pick. This will insure each owner meets the keeper min/max requirement and has 21 selections in the draft. (For more trade information see Entry D-2 below).
- The five keeper spots are essentially the first five rounds of the draft and the draft will begin with round six. (For draft information see Entry E below).
- D. TRADES
1. Off-season trades
- An open trade period will be observed from Jan. 13 to Jan. 30 (or around that date depending on calendar each year).
- During this time owners can make any deal agreed upon by the parties involved.
- The owners are asked to contact the commissioner once the trade is agreed upon. At that time the commissioner will release the trade to the rest of the owners.
- A two-day review period will be observed.
- If a trade receives one protest, the trade in question will be put to a vote. The owners will vote and the owners involved in the deal are asked not to vote. If the majority of the owners feel the trade is unfair, the trade will not go through. In case of a tie, the commissioner will review the trade and make a fair decision.
2. Off-season keeper trades
- For a 10-day period, Feb. 1 to 10 (or around that date depending on calendar each year), owners are permitted to trade keepers players and draft picks.

3. Trading draft picks
- Owners will be allowed to trade a draft position as part of a deal during the open trade period and off-season keeper trade period.
- The commissioner will keep track of this and each owner is asked to keep track of their deals to insure a correct draft order and to avoid confusion.
4. In-season trades
- A trade review of two days will be observed.
- If a trade receives one protest, the trade in question will be put to a vote. The owners will vote and the owners involved in the deal are asked not to vote. - E. DRAFT
- The draft will begin no earlier than Feb. 15 and no later than Feb. 28 of each season.

- The order will not be reversed each round. It will go 1 through 10 each round.
