Rules for the Frank Pollard Fantasy Football League come from Commissioner Hal Coffey, with aid from the voting members of the league.
- A. LEAGUE MEMBERS
- Jonathan Bombulie, David Smith, Kevin Donlin, Jordan Hyman, Mark Correa, Greeser, Geoff Mosher, Jim Iovino, Rob Amen, Dain Shirey, Justin Ziegler, Rick Staron, Steve Bennett and Hal Coffey (co-owner Ian Messerle).
- B. ENTRY FEE & PRIZES
- The entry fee is $25 per team. At the end of the season a total of $350 will be collected.
- A sum will go towards the purchase of an engraved beer stein that will be given to the league champion.
- The remaining money will be split between the first place and second place finishers, with the champion receiving most of the money and the No. 2 team receiving at least $25.
- C. KEEPER PLAYERS
- Each owner must keep two players.
- Each owner will be permitted to keep the player for life or until the owner chooses to make a change.
- D. TRADES
- A trade review of two days will be observed.
- If a trade receives one protest, the trade in question will be put to a vote. The owners will vote and the owners involved in the deal are asked not to vote. If the majority of the owners feel the trade is unfair, the trade will not go through. In case of a tie, the commissioner will review the trade and make a fair decision.
- E. DRAFT
- The draft will begin no earlier than mid-August of each season.
- The draft will be done via e-mail unless other arrangements are made.
- The draft order each year will be the reverse order of finish (10th picks first and so on).
- The order will not be reversed each round. It will go 1 through 10 each round.
- Length of draft will be determined by number of keeper players and bench positions.
- F. ROSTER SIZES & POSITION BREAK DOWN
- The maximum number of players allowed per team is 13 (eight active and five bench).
- Position break down is as follows: QB, RB, RB/WR, 2 WRs, TE, K, DEF and any bench players.
- G. LEAGUE SETTINGS
- Scoring is as follows: 6 points for a touchdown run, pass or catch. Minus-two points for a fumble or interception. Two points for a two-point conversion run, pass or catch. 1 point for 10 yards rushing or receiving. 1 point for 25 yards passing. Field goals are worth 3 points if kicked from 39 yards or less; 4 points for 40-49 yards and 5 points for 50+. Extra points are worth 1 point.
On defense, sacks are worth 1 point; interceptions, fumble recoveries, safeties and blocked kicks are worth 2 points. Defensive touchdowns are six points. Shutting out the opposition is worth 10 points; holding to 1-6 points is worth 7; 7-13 is 4; 14-20 is 1; 21-27 is 0; 28-34 is minus-1; and allowing more than 34 points is minus-4.
- A waiver period of two days will be observed.
- Trade deadline will be mid-November each season.
