Thought I would let you know that I stopped by and I like your page! I used to drive a 96 Cobra but I totalled it in December. I then had to step down to my 2000 SVT Contour. Pretty fast but will never compare to my cobra.

I have an '89 2.3L liftback I inherited (with 3K miles) when my mother found out she had Motor Neurone and had to stop driving. It now has something over 110K (trouble-free, touch wood) UK miles on it, as well as a 4-headlamp conversion with projector bea lights I did myself.

I've got a red '92 LX 5.0, 5 speed. It's loaded out with most every option, including a sunroof. I didn't necessarily want all the options but I wanted to get a 'Stang and this was a great deal. I had an '88 LX 5.0 I autocrossed, drag raced, and raced t a track in northern Illinois called Blackhawk Farms. I regretted selling it about three days after I did and have been nagging my wife to let me buy one again every since!! I intend to modify this '92 and race it often, although probably not drag race as much as autocross or race it at established road courses. Do you race yours, or do you know any road course that sponsor races on weekends? David Giesen

I was quite surprised to see that Mustangs have such a large following in the UK...I'm from the U.S. and own a '92 5.0L LX hatchback with low miles. I expect to be moving to the UK from Malaysia next year and would like to know if the UK has any syntheti oils such as Red Line Brand synthetic oils, i.e. for a T5, available there? Also, are there any mechanical shops there that specialize in Mustang repair and also body work? Any in you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Rgrds. Gil

I have a Rio Red 1997 Cobra coupe, #4924/6961. It has the following mods: K&N, March pulleys, SVO ceramic headers, Bassani x-pipe, Two-chamber Flowmasters. With more to come: 4.10 gears, slicks, Vortech supercharger in a year or so.
