The New York Stock Exchange recognizes the following 9 Holidays:

Please note that on some days near these dates, the market might close early. The stock market usually closes at 1 PM EST on the day after Thanksgiving and the day before Christmas. In 2006 & 2007 the market also closed early the day before Independence Day. You can usually find these early closing dates on NYSE.com under "events calendar". The bond markets might not follow the stock market exactly. For example, the bond market will usually close early on the Friday before Memorial Day but the stock market will not. The stock market is not closed on Columbus Day or Veterans Day but these are post office and usually bank holidays.
