Connacht is located in the West of Ireland. Generally there are fantastic views along the coastline. The weather is windier and rainier than the rest of the country. It also has the best value for money. Galway is the province's largest city.

Fairly wide open course. Places a premium on approach shots to protected medium- sized greens. Some nice holes. The 9th and 12th are particularly good. Can play long. Excellant club house facilities. Overall a decent course and good value for money.

By far the best value for money in the country ($9!!)  Short but challenging course, plays much longer than its yardage. Several small and difficult greens. Great views of the course from the 5th tee box. Interesting and demanding layout. Offers annual, overseas, and lifetime memberships; £500 lifetime or £190 annual membership.

Great views of Galway Bay and Clare. Very demanding on windy days. Medium sized greens, narrow fairways. All round good value for money and worth playing if in the Galway City area, only three miles from city center.

Championship caliber course, host to European Tour events, designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr. Tough, extremely windy course. My favorite course in Connacht.  Long narrow fairways, large greens, deep bunkers. Excellent layout, with all 18 holes unique. Several water holes. Good views of Galway Bay. Definitely worth the money.

Recently added 9 more holes to its course and the word "Championship" to its title. However the name is a gross exageration.  At best this course is mediocre. Some nice holes, but in general nothing special. Definitely not worth the money.  The quaint clubhouse was sucessfully converted from an old cottage. Probably the most comfortable I have ever been in. Unfortunately the clubhouse remains the only reason to visit this course.

Decent course. Narrow tree-lined fairways, difficult when the wind blows. Some long holes. Hard greens, needs bump and run approach shots. Generally very flat course. Worth playing if in the area.
