Golfing In Ireland

Connacht is located in the West of Ireland. Generally there are fantastic views along the coastline. The weather is windier and rainier than the rest of the country. It also has the best value for money. Galway is the province's largest city.

My personal favorite of the nine hole courses. Great value for money. Very hilly, great views of the course and surrounding countryside. Challenging course, plays a lot longer than its yardage. Deep rough, but wide fairways. Eventhough it is a nine hole course there are 18 tee boxes.

Several unique holes. Poor layout, a lot of needless walking between holes. Very open in parts, can be dangerous on busy days due to errant shots. Hilly course, medium sized greens.  Worth playing if in the area (only course around), otherwise forget about it.
