1. I'm using FS2000 and going down all the time shortly after take off. How come?

You're most likely not using the most recent version of FS6UPC. A problem occurs at Schiphol because the airport is located below sea level. Since FS2000 is the first version supporting negative (below sea level) altitudes, it caused some problems with the old versions of FS6UPC. Please visit http://www.schiratti.com for the latest version.


2. Voice quality is really bad, what can I do?

We are afraid there is not much you can do about that. Make sure there are no other applications (apart from SB) using your Internet connection like heavy downloads or something. If voice quality is still unreadable, stick to text. Try to use voice as long as possible, only stick to text if it is absolutely unreadable what the controller is saying to you.

3. What can I do to make my handoff quicker?

Use the list of RW-stations below. Dutch VACC uses the SATUK server for all voice communications so basicly you know which IP to expect. You may look out for a tool called SwitchBox. Another option is simply running FS98/2000 in a window so that you can easily reach Roger Wilco.
