The under sevens entered two teams at the Old Colfeians Festival in Lewisham on Sunday 2nd April. The festival was for U7/8/9's age groups and was regarded as a tremendous success not least because there were over 600 children from clubs from all over Kent and of course our lads from Brighton.

The Brighton teams were created from a mixture of the blue team, the green team and first time players. The ‘first’ team won the competition and the second team were in 3rd place.

The second team actually won all their pool matches but they were denied a chance to play in the final by festival rules. These rules stated that clubs with two teams reaching the 'Winner's Play-Offs' had to meet in the semi-finals so as to avoid meeting in the final!!

Congratulations to all the boys involved, it must have been a tremendous squad performance.
