Last Years Ska Against Racism tour is followed up by the Plea for
Peace
tour. What organisations will the P4P tour support ?
Right now it supports the ANTI RACIST ACTION and the Museum of
Tolerance, but will constantly moving towards growth.
Our basic goal is to work with the youth in teaching tolerance
to issues such as racism.
Was it one of your aims when you left Skankin Pickle to set up a record label and support anti racist and other organisations through albums (the ARA comp & Chinkees etc.) and tours ?
No, it's always been my goal to support the anti racist movement, but through Asian Man Records I found the time and money to donate what is important to me.
Did you get into ska when you saw Dance craze or had you experienced ska before ?
Unknowingly I was a fan of bands like Madness and the Beat, but had no idea what SKA was. It was the movie Dance Craze that made the connection.
Are you happy with the size and position of Asian Man or would you like it to progress and end up like Fat or Epitaph ?
Yes, I'm overwhelmed. I will never become a big label. It will always be at the level it's at, which I feel is already respected and known. Basically my label is in my parents garage. I only have 2 employees. If that's not punk enough, then I give up.
What can we expect from the new Chinkees album ?
More politically driven tunes about life. I'm excited. I can't wait for the release. It's my dream to tour Europe. I hope I can share my music live in the European countries.

What are you favourite bands at the moment or what one band would you like to release an album by on Asian Man ?
Hmmmm...I'm a big fan of all the bands on the label. There are
a couple of bands from Japan that I'm interested in working with.
Bands like Tropical Gorilla, the HOLIDAYS, and SOFTBALL.
