Uranium Chelation

Chelation is a method by which substances can be moved from one place to another using, in essance, a chemical claw.   Chelation goes on naturally in life forms and is used in industry to concentrate or remove contaminats or minerals from soil, water, etc.  A powerful natural chelate is alginate which is contained in seaweed or kelp.

Modifilan -- A seaweed derrived product developed to help victoms of the Chernybol disaster.  It is used to chelate heavy metals, one of which is uranium.

Chelation Therapy  -- This discribes chelation using the drug EDTA and chelation of iron with the tannin in green tea.

"STRUCTURAL CHARACTERIZATION OF TERNARY CITRIC ACID COMPLEX OF IRON AND URANIUM "
This web page shows how uranium and iron can be chelated with citric acid forming a molecule together.

Iron overload due to numerous red blood transfusions can then possibly be helped while also chelating toxic uranium in the body. Dr. Norman Walker drank a glass of fresh lemon juice in hot water every morning to clean out his the liver and kidneys--He lived to be 118 years old.  Lemons, a citric fruit contains good amounts of citric acid.  The web page above shows how uraniuim combines with citric acid.  I assume that uranium which is stored in the kidneys will be better cleared from the body using while consuming citric acid.
