The Concept of Rewards and Punishment of
Atilano, Ria ABSTRACT This quantitative study is an important assessment of how the private entities view public sector corruption. It examines how the definition of corruption among the members of this sector affects their proposed rewards and punishment scheme for fraudulent practices in government. The study also elucidates on how the various socio-political aspects during the two time frames helped form the ideas of people on corruption and the measures to solve it. The researchers found that the concept of punishment and reward for public sector corruption among private sector enterprises in the 2000 and 2001 data were not different from each other.
