A Prayer For Victory

No matter which way we've turned, Lord,
we saw Your gentle, loving face.
Never once have You turned away,
nor refused us Your loving grace.

Not one step did we take alone,
but You were ever by our side.
Not one fear to make us tremble,
while in Your care, we did abide.

And never a darkness did come,
but a beacon of hope shined through.
Never a moment has ticked by,
without our spending it with You.

So, now, as ever , we turn to You,
for it 's in You alone we trust.
Pray lead us on to swift victory,
and restore peace, once more, to us.
