Rank: Rank is determined by the Great Chain of Being, (see public In Character Post). Rank is different from favor, though the two are related. Rank is more securely set then favor, though it can also change. For sanity’s sake, we have broken up the eleven Links of the Chain into three basic categories, pertaining to garments. Also listed is whether or not specific materials are considered formal, semi-formal, or informal, depending on the garments. Combinations of items can be made, to increase, or decrease an outfit’s formality. Finally, dye colors also affect formality of items.
